how or why did you join if you don't know what it is?
final fantasy is a series of games. they are so poluar that some movies have been made off of them. if you like movies rent/buy ffVII advent children watch the rememberence and then watch the movies. if you prefer games and have a playstaion one or two rent/buy finl fantasy VII, VIII, IX, or X ( X is only for ps2).
FFIX is my favorite, but ffVII is the most popular. there are more games than those but i think that thoses whould be a good start.

The beginning of the final Fantasy games started when Square soft were about to lose their company because they never had a big hit game so they
made Final Fantasy 1 because if the game didn't become a great hit they will lose there Company. But it became a big hit so they made more and more games of it

on G4 they had an episode on the history of Final Fantasy whitch is very interesting to watch. the show's called game makers. find the one of Final Fantasy. that should help you out there.

the games are role play games and are considered the greatest rpg's of all time. they are sword-fighting adventure games and most of them have love in them...not trying to be all...hmm how should i put this...femanine...but yeah. i really love them all. if youre looking for a tear jerker love story, play # 10...if your looking for more of an action rpg...play # 8...and if youre looking for a combination of the two...love and action, play #7, if you can find it that is...i highly doubt that there are many gaming stores that have them in stock still...
