I want to kill my history teacher. He told us to write a thesis for a paper (which is due Friday. He told us this yesterday.) So I write my thesis, and it's awesome and perplexing, and he checks it today and -- after putting on a whole song and dance about how it's a bad thesis -- he says: "If you write a paper on this thesis, I'll give you an NC."

So, basically, he wants to fail me if I write a paper about a thesis that is awesome; I argued about it with a "respectable" person. That's what our English teacher said a thesis was, a statement that any respectable/reasonable person (even though that's hard to define) could argue with. And our history teacher told us to use the criteria of our English class thesis statements to write our statements! And also, how can he dismiss my thesis as impossible? He doesn't know what happened in Salem 1692. He's certainly not a Puritan or a doctor. And he sure as hell can't call my thesis "bad" or "impossible" without letting me ******** speak.

Yeah, I'm not actually going to initiate another school shooting. He's so belligerent he's probably bullet-proof.

But if he smacks me in the head, I'm calling the cops.
