I'ma going to post this here, because the Mod forum is pretty much dead.

Anyway, as we all know...halloween is coming up and it's a holiday...
Sadly, our guild has been pretty slow on our continuous activities (including B-day gifts), and well, I just want to see if anyone's up to planning something for the guild for halloween. I think I do remember planning an rp ahead of time...like months ago for halloween, but seeing as we're trying to keep track of this rp...I can say then that's a no go.
Furthermore...Athrun's birthday is coming up.

gaia already has a halloween event anyways. i say athrun's bday if we can.
my suggestion for that would be that we did what we did for kira and cagalli's bday. write a letter to athrun. it's pretty simple, and since we're all busy, it would be a good way to remember it by.
we can also make it kinda like a gift exchange thing (regarding birthday ideas), but that relates more to christmas. however, it's a good idea to do a "secret santa" christmas gift exchange with the rp goin on.
besides, the next bday isn't till december. we can start anew with bday gifts then.
but if we cant arrange anything in time, just have it so we all go trick or treating together in towns or something.

Actually, I think it's the 29th.
That sounds like a good idea. To go trick or treating at the same time in towns. Not to mention they will have it up for more than one day.
A letter...I think we did that for...maybe it was Kira and Cagalli's b-day. Yeah, that's right. We had a birthday bash party planned but it didn't turn out all too well, did it? Ah, well.
The whole secret santa thing is great for christmas. I'll see if I can come up with a letter. As a added bonus I'll look up some Athrun pics (see if some suggests b-days), and perhaps find some B-day fics on ff.net just to link up to if anyone is interested in reading them.

Uhm...sure.
I'm not that great with/or have the tools neccessary to perhaps make some sort of banner. Something that at least says Happy Birthday Athrun!
I'm not too possitive I can find something like that online.
Besides, anyone can add anything they want to the "guild gift" if they wish to.

I have a friend whose birthday is on the 29th too. =D I found that oddly amusing. I know someone else with a birthday on the 18th of May, and I think someone else I know's (though this person I don't know so well anymore) is on the 5th of February.
That aside, I like the idea of having a celebration for Athrun's birthday. He is one of the two for whom this guild is dedicated to, anyways.

i agree for doing athrun's bday, and writing letters to him! it's so much fun writing it and reading everyone elses =3
and i also like the idea of going trick-or-treating together! if we can organize it properly... =3
o0oh secret santa gift exchange! how will that work though? someone will have to know who got who in order to make sure everyone receives a present..

Hmm...I think I already figured how to do it...
And we're going to use this thread for it...well for the most part
In a couple days I'll add a new thread in the main forum for people to sign up for secret santa. I'll give you guys a week or so to do that. Plus you'll list things you think you may want. You can list more than one thing (doesn't mean you'll get more than one...), price value running from 1g to I guess 5000g. We'll figure that out later.
I (with any help from fellow crew members) will arrange the names in numerical order. After we do that we'll probably use that same thread to give you guys the number of people participating in secret santa (hopefully an even number). That way you can do a random number draw from 1-?
No one gets the same number and if you somehow picked yourself we'll let you know...
After the picking is done...we'll send you pm's letting you know who you've got. And by then you should have a little over a month to raise gold and purchase whatever for that person.
Sounds fair?

As for trick or treating....we'll just have to wait until when gaia let's us know the date, place, and time of all their celebrations. If they have another party, grunny bash, we should create our own thread so we can all chat and party together. We'll decide of location and time for the actual trick or treating through towns. Which I don't think everyone will be too kosher to do if they have tons of trouble with towns.
