SBS.
How I loved thee.
Notice the use of the past tense, because now SBS runs ads during their shows. That's right, not just between shows (though now greatly reduced) but in the middle of shows as well.
OMFG KILL ME NOW!
My favourite shows have been ruined now.
Iron Chef.
South Park.
I havn't watched any movies yet, but I'm sure they might have ads in them as well.
At least Rokquiz doesn't have ads. Not yet at least.

Yeah how ******** is that?!
I'll be watching Oz, and something major will happen and it'll go to an add! You can't have ads in shows like Oz! It just lessens the impact so much. It bloody sucks.

Oh I know, it's part of the reason I didn't watch Six Feet Under, and why I still don't watch Scrubs or Arrested Development. My friends have them all on DVD.

yeah i was pretty pissed when sbs introduced ads in the middle fo shows... i mean, why add ads in teh middle of shows such as top gear, south park etc... at least they arnt those sleezy ones you get after 12am on 7, nbn and ten...

I am just grateful that the channle exists, add or no.
these people want the specific market SBS goes for, so hopefully
this will mean SBS can fund itself and Johhny H will keep his hands off it.

Not to mention they up the price for no good reason
and a lot of smalle clubs ad bars in small towns can no longer afford to pay
the $1000 a month subscrition ( 2 years ago it was $200)

i like it having ads in the shows now! it doesn't feel like such a long wait between shows!
i like to watch mythbusters- south park- drawn together! all on monday!

I hear SBS will have a bit of AFL next year as well

I guess it's just something that has to happen for a successful channel...Even ads on channel 31. I reckon' with the other channels, there should be at least around a four-ad limit each break, and there should be a certain amount of times that they can repeat an ad, I hate seeing the same fricken' ad over and over, kind of like foxtel. Foxtel's gone downhill. :'/
