Okayz, so I have joined my school's drama club. Since my school is lame we have no good theatre classes or anything. We don't even have a stage! gonk The stage is in the cafateria.

Anyways, so I joined our drama club and we meet every Monday, but then soccer tryouts are next week on Monday and Tuesday. I know I'm skipping the drama club for that one day, but if I make the team and if practices are on Mondays then I'll have to either give up soccer or theatre. I'm gonna die!
Or I might be able to find a local theatre to work at, (I'm a techie by the way) but all the websites I looked at don't seem very promising.

Any ideas? Or does anyone have a suggestion for working at a local theatre?
I can't really work due to the fact that I'm in 8th grade, so I guess volunteer....and now I'm rambling, sorry! But any suggestins would be loved!

I am doing soccer and theatre...but it's rec soccer so I miss almost all of the practices since the plays have started. Not sure if it counts. sweatdrop

Perhaps you could talk to the leader of the drama club and your couch? Maybe find out certain days you can do one and one you can do the other?

You might just have to give one or the other up. You might want to try out for soccer to see if you're even going to have to worry about it in the first place.

Ya, I'm not sure I'll make the team, I didn't last year.

I made the first Drama Club meeting earlier this week and everyone said that Monday was the best day. But then I think that if I make the team I have to go to all the practices. Of course I don't even now if practice will be on Mondays....it might just be the tryout day.....maybe I don't have anything to worry about!

Instead I was elected president of the drama club and my director has asked me to help on weekends with a profesional travling theatre group. ^^

And more soccer tryouts are on Monday. We now have a B-Team. And I already asked the coach and she said that if I make the team I can skip Monday practice to do the drama club instead!!
