I need help! In more than just a professional capacity. whee
I've been considering making a 'changable' pet store in the mini-shop thread for a long time now.
My ideas are still mostly in the planning stages, so I really need opinions, and ideas. Basically, I'm wanting to do something along the line of "Spirits". (As in ghosts and essences, not liquor. xd ) But I'd like some feedback, first. What kinds of things do you guys find interesting and intriguing in Gaia pets? (I'll be posting a little more info of my ideas - sketches, plans etc - later on as I develop them)
OF course, I'm rather hesitant about starting such a large endevor. Especially after my avvie art store was such a flop (My own fault. I took on WAY too many orders at a time and got overwhelmed. crying ). But maybe a pet store - something that offers only limited product at any one time - would be an easier pace to follow? Opinions? *begging*
If I do decide to do this, I'll probably be needing a partner, too. Someone to help manage the business. I'm not asking yet, but it's something to think about, I suppose.....

I do know that you should go with something small at first. Start off slow, so as not to get in over your head. I suppose I don't need to tell you that, though.

You were thinking of selling strictly limited edition stuff? Or were you planning on taking on commisions, as with the avvie shop?

No, I'm thinking a limited edition type store. Very high quality pets, of which there is only one released at a time. And whose evolution can only be influenced by a set type of 'accessories, ( maybe). That way I can develop the magority of the thing BEFORE I sell it. 3nodding
The point of the store wouldn't really be to make a whole ton of money. It's just something I've been wanting to do for awhile. I just have a very hard time organiziong. xd
