I've only seen the cartoon character so... It's funny... I have never seen that Buck Rogers, ever! I wonder if there's gonna be a movie or something about him in the near future. You know, like they've done with other concepts like, the thunderbirds or whatnot..?

I voted for Buck Rogers because without him there never would have even been a Duck Dodgers (of the 24th ans 1/2th Century)

I have never seen Buck Rogers, but I know that he is of an older generation of Sci-Fi television. Buck Rogers falls into the "Pre Star Trek" genre of rocket ships and corny villains. Besides Duck Dodgers, Buck Rogers and similar sci-fi epics were much of the inspiration behind Star Wars.

Buck Rogers had many incarnations, at least 1 TV series and 2 movies that I know of. They are tame in comparison with Star Wars, etc, but the thought for that time period was fairly revolutionary.

I like how in the new Duck Dodgers show they incorporate a wide range of classic Lonney Tunes. Hilarious.

I haven't watched a Duck Dodgers episode for a long time now, or any other cartoons really. I might go into cartoon withdrawal.
