I'm thinking about starting to write a comic, but a retarded duck shitting it self is a better artist then I. So I'm going to get my friend/sister to maybe draw it for me if you guys think it's a good concept.

Essentially it's going to be losely baced on mylife, except I'll be a guy. Any of you who have read Dominic Deegan know what a seer is. MY idea is that I am a seer in the modern world having to deal with what I see and the troubles of classes, and a social life. I'd include all sorts of horrid modern trends, but will have to put in pop culture refrences since this is loosely baced on my real life. But I'll try to keep it to a minimum. It sounds a bit cliche but I think it may turn out good.

I'll include all of the people I know, and follow my problems and victories. Although not exactly those people, mostly I'll first base them off of us, then let them grow as there own charactors. I'm not sure if I should.

But really what I want advice on is:
1. Is this a good story set up?
2. How do I go about asking the person I have in mind to be the artist?

Discuss:
1. The comic.
2. My suckyness as an artist, when I take less then 4 hours.
3. comics I could use as refrence for sstory boarding.

Not saying she should, but she really could, she's going on to major in ahuman anatomy. but she also dislikes drawing things she has to do.

Lots of drama is always good (in stories only)

I'd encourage you. I'd maybe take into account what you need for this. Will you have to pay the artist? Are you planning on selling it to shops? How many copies to make?

And then the story side. Will my story be good enough? I'd give it ot a bunch of people and ask them to read it first. Make sure the feedback is good, no point in spending a lot of time on something that won't sell. :cough:story in the Journal:cough:
