So I took a look at the PC guild and I have to say I am shocked! They are so mean and ignorant. All they do in their threads is bad mouths pro-lifers and say that we are stupid and that we don't think. I was hoping to find some insight into their point of views on this debate, but only found them trash-talking us. Well that's really mature, isn't it?? I am glad that our guild does not talk badly about pro choicers, well not that I have seen anyway.
yeah just pointing that out.

Actualy, we do. All the time actualy, we some times try not to single individuals out, and when that happens the mods are swift to remind us of the agreement. Nope, there are actualy no rules in this guild saying you can't single some one out and bad mouth them, but its just...well..like you said, immature.

Yeah... I was gonna say...
In my opinion, we aren't nearly as bad as the PCG, because, as you said, it seems like almost every thread is about how much they hate us, but then, I'm a bit biased now aren't I? wink

I would strongly disagree that the Pro-Choice Gaians Guild is full of mean and ignorant people. I would also say that there are plenty of threads where Pro-Lifers are not bad mouthed. There are a couple Pro-Choicers who will bad mouth Pro-Lifers in any thread they go into, yes, but there are about 4-6threads on the 1st page that are actually insulting to Pro-Lifers (in general or specific) and multiple other threads that deal with other areas of abortion/women's rights/opinion/pants/etc.
I think that there are more threads that are vented in, in the PCG, maybe because a lot of the Pro-Choicers tend to lurk the Debate rather than their Guild, so only go into the Guild to vent or or occasion.
A lot of Pro-Choicers (ok, maybe like 5) have reported similar things about this Guild. I don't see that either. I think that both Guilds have some very intelligent, polite, interesting, nice people in them, along with some angry people.
If the idea that you, things you've said, or people you know and/or agree with, or beliefs you hold true upset(s) other people makes you uncomfortable or unhappy, I would suggest that you don't go into the "opposing" Guild. It really is better for you as a person if you don't purposely spend time looking at things that make you drastically unhappy when you have the option to not do so.

It really is better for you as a person if you don't purposely spend time looking at things that make you drastically unhappy when you have the option to not do so. I agree. That's reason I don't go there ever and some other places that make me depressed.

I remember you being met with high skepticism, apprehension, and maybe even a little paranoia, for -exactly- the reason this post was started, but no real flaming. By which I mean, no one was saying, "We don't want to get along with you, boo, you're an idiot!" People were saying, "In the past, every Pro-Choicer saying what you are saying now has turned on us, so why should we trust you?" But that's all.

Well, in your defense, I can see how you could see some of it as flaming, because some people weren't very nice about it. sweatdrop
(It's also possible my definition of flaming is flawed; To me flaming is purposefully being mean in a post.)
