I haven't learned as much as I'd have liked, though... Yeah, I wanted to write something in Japanese but my 'change language' toolbar seems to have disappeared! *panics*

I can understand some Hiragana but I'm more comfortable with katakana. I'm starting with Kanji and can read the basics like yama, kawa, ushi, watashi, boku, ashita and the like but it can still get confusing from time to time. I've been studying more deeply the structuring and it's hard. I've got the basics but still not ready to take on the likes of SPIN. ^__^

Oh hey, i haven't mentioned yet...
I have finally memorized katakana and hiragana! and now, i'm starting to study kanji! woot! i have learned to write 1-10, hyaku, sen, yama, hibi, tsuki, etc.! i'm so excited! blaugh blaugh (oh and i already know how to write matsujun's name xd )
oh and yeah, i have just installed East Asian Languages to my pc, and now, i can type in japanese!! yey!

I've been studying for a while now and can say a few phrases and understand a bit when spoken to, but as far as reading I'm totally lost. I can point out a few things but not too many!

I can't really speak it, jap that is...but is learning. I'm Canadian...Chinese and yes, i love japanese too plus pretty much everything related to it... currently...trying hard to prepare well for exams....lol i think i haven't mis read it...i hope...
