Nameless Paradise Events. We decided that, for every event on the calender, [eg. christmas, easter, etc.], we were going to do something special to make you all happy.
For each year there will be a post, and near the begining of each event the post will be updated with the details of that event. Details may include a [cheap] item for you to buy, or a colour theme for your avatar. It's not compulsory, and one item or one small patch of the colour will do. At the end, the event art thread [soon-to-be located in the soon-to-be art forum] will be updated with all the cool stuff you've done for that event, along with a big picture of everyone who took part. It will probably be hand drawn, BUT, as I shall probably make it, and you all know how lazy I am, it may occasionally be avatars put together in the wonderful Paint with some doodles, etc. ><;
There will also be a themed event [with prizes!] which will be provided by, yeah, ME! The events will mostly be open to interpretation, so everyone can join in. ^^
I shall lock this topic, so I can add new year posts whenever they are needed.

Can't afford it? Just tell me the colour you want, and I'll get one for you. [;
The event
Well, I thought that as it was halloween we needed to be totally unoriginal and do something spooky. So, I what you need to do is take an ordinary object and make it halloween-ified. This may be a random picture of a mug that you scribbled all over, or a real life lampshade that you drew [[Please get permission from the lampshade owner. I really don't want to be paying out for new stuff because your mom/dad/brother/husband/wife/uncle/friend/cat/football spazzed because you used their favourite lampshade, yeah?]]. It doesn't matter what you pick, just be creative. <3
PM all entries to me by November 5th, and I and other members that have not entered will judge the winners.
Open to all, including mods and new members. <3

The event
It's Christmas, so we'll have two events 'cause I'm feeling happy. The first, you know about, will be the secret santa. For all other information on this event, please see the temporary sticky, located here.
As for the other; I was using the bathroom facilities, as I do, when the perfect idea came to me. I thought we'd steal ideas from futurama use your brains to come up with something new. So, what you have to do, is imagine you've somehow moved forward in time and are at Christmas in 3010. Somehow tell people what it's like. Use whatever means you can find - draw, write, use a secret transmisson from the sewer people, whatever. Just somehow describe what it'll be like. PM all entries by December 23rd [at the very latest] and the winner will be announced on Christmas day.

Yes indeed they are.
The longjohns are available from Barton Boutique for 550g and will go under most items of clothing you own.
The only problem they do have, is that they cut a big 'u' shape into most "bottoms" you wear, so a long top may be needed.
Or just go with the extra style that glitch adds to your avatar. ;D
Other than that, display or hide your longjohns with pride.
They're not that bad really. ;D
The event
Well, I decided something with little effort but maximum gain is in order. I know that most people hate Valentine's Day due to the major emphasis it puts on to be in a happy relationship and receive more cards than you have space for and more gifts than everyone around you. Of course, for most people this is rarely the case, so I decided to center the event around a relationship of any kind.
The event will consist of a duo avatar contest during which 'couples' - they can be friends, in a relationship, mother, daughter, son, dog, cat, scooter, whatever - will enter together. The entrants will then be voted on with a poll to decide which two avatars match the best. It doesn't matter if you share a colour scheme, an item, or just decide to be total opposites, the two avatars that NP decide look the best together will win. I will give [some] extra gold to any couples that feel they need a few extra funds to complete their avatars, but not much. I will also loan out any items that I own or that I can afford to buy to help with the event.
Alternatively, two users can put together a single avatar which they have worked on together, as long as it shows "characteristics" of them both.
There will be a prize. The winning pair will pick two of four mystery prizes that I have prepared and will share the contents.
