I hate that pro-choice people constantly attack me when I'm tring to get my point across like I'm some kind of nazi for being pro-life. stressed It's not like we tell them because they are pro-choice they are going to hell. And we don't say if you had an abortion your going to hell for sure. rolleyes When ever I would say something they wouldn't give a good responce they would just correct me for using the word baby or child or innocent. stare

Geez, didn't you know that?
And Pyro (Because you're still Pyro to me, damnit!): At first I thought you were Zin, because I wasn't looking closely at your avatar, and I was going to yell at you to get back in the kitchen too. whee But as it is, good job, you put her in her place!

And I should have said this earlier, but, in my capacity as a Mod, I should probably say that this is a very vague and a rather frequently (Over?) stated sentiment, so there's really no use for this thread. I'm not even sure how you lock a thread, so I'll leave it up to one of the other mods as to whether we should lock the thread, or whatever.
In the past, people sometimes adjust the subject of a post to avoid it being deleted. If you would do something similar, I'm sure there would be no problem.
We really are a very light hearted guild, generally, but we can't just have topics by every new person about how they've been mistreated by Pro-Choicers. Otherwise we would have a front page just flooded with them. wink

Bottom left, the option [Lock thread] Should be near, sticky and announcement.
It's not actual words, just a ittle button with a padlock on it.

Heil Fuhrher kp! xd At the moment there's a big strong man in my kitchen fixing my oven, because I'm not smart enough to figure out all that mechanical stuff...and whatever would I do without my oven? I need to bake cookies to snag a man and have baybeez!! Oh sweet ********, I think I threw up in my mouth a little just writing that... gonk LOL, this was too funny and sad not to post: Basically, the guy's here because my stove makes the clicky lighting noise at random, along with a few other minor problems and my mom's paranoid about carbon monoxide. Repair dude: "See, it makes the clicking when it first lights, you have to turn the knob past 'lite.'" Mom: stare "....Yes, I know...." stressed Me: *sporfle* *headdesk*

I'll post this in here also, if this thread isn't going to be removed. But I'll leave it in the other thread (so many Pro-Choicers) too, so one of the nice Mods can remove it if it is too repeditive to have it in both. Moo_moo123 I have that pro-choice people constantly attack me when I'm tring to get my point across like I'm some kind of nazi for being pro-life. stressed Perhaps, had you been willing to be polite, site facts and sources/back up your opinion, and not outright attack Pro-Choicers, you would have gotten a slightly less angry welcome in the Debate. Now I would be the first to admit that the Debate can get horriblly messy (except that so many people have done it before I could). But being hostile from the start doesn't help. Nor does refusing to back up a single assertion and refusing to ever admit any mistake. I know the Debate can be really, really mean even to Pro-Lifers who are polite and are willing to site sources. It sucks. But it really doesn't help matters if you are angry and dramatic right off the bat. It really, really helps if you want to be treated with respect when you are willing to treat others with respect first. Please, I know it's really hard to be the one, or one of a few, Pro-Lifer(s) in the Abortion Debate. But please, please, please try to stay calm and not use name calling as a tactic. I try, really hard, when I am in the Debate to both respect Pro-Lifers and to encourage others to respect Pro-Lifers. But if the Pro-Lifer(s) in question are unwilling or unable to respect Pro-Choicers, how could I possibly ask anyone to treat them with respect? If you don't want to be attacked by Pro-Choicers in the Debate, please don't attack them first (or even back, in the case of a couple choice Pro-Choicers). Please?

I think. sweatdrop I'm new at the whole modding thing. @Pyro: It's "chauvinist," and I only correct you because I had no idea what you were talking about at first. xd @Zin: xd And that's a pretty frightening thing for the stove to be doing, too. o.o *Glad he has an electric stove. Sad he has no microwave.*

Moo_moo123 I didn't attack them first. I did back up what I said except things like my personal opinion and god matters. I did admit mistakes. 1. I admit that some of the posts you replied to in an attacking way could be considered attack. Some of them, however, could not, whereas you did attack some users before they ever said anything attacking to you. 2. The only place you backed up ANYTHING was when you quoted the "year of our lord" and the Magna Carta to me as proof that the constitution "mentions God on many occasions" (to prove that the US was founded on Christianity). And, when this did not prove you correct, you refused to admit that you were wrong on this point. Anything else that you seem to believe "backs up" anything you've said are oneliner restatements of your previous points. You do not back up your assertion that the fetus has a soul (though you do finally call this "your opinion"), you do not back up (or even attempt to back up) your assertion that the fetus can feel pain at time of abortion - nor do you admit you were wrong about this when given articles (admittedly the first was from a biased source, but I don't believe that Forbes is biased) that show that the fetus cannot feel pain at the time when most abortions are preformed. 3. The only statements you made though could be taken to be admissions of mistakens, in fact, were when you finally admitted that you couldn't prove your religion (and called it your opinion), even though you continued to use it as though it were a valid argument against Pro-Choice responses. http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/search.php?action=userposthistory&search_author=97498This is your post history. If you like, I can quote your actual posts to show you where I am getting each of these objections. I admit that many Pro-Choicers in the Debate are not very nice. But it doesn't help when the Pro-Lifers who go in are also hostile. A (better) attempt at remaining civil on both sides would be very nice.
