Character has gotta be one of my favourite metal albums as of late. I have been listening to it a lot on my iPod.

Hey, I bought their b-side compilation/live album 'In Retrospect and Denial' barely a week before I got to see them live last month. It was a totally new discovery for me, I almost didn't give them any notice simply because I'd never heard any of their stuff before. But let me say, I'm damned glad that I did end up seeing them. They're a kick a** band live and their dedication and passion certainly came through. The crowd/band energy exchange was incredible, the lead singer stage dove during one song and just kept singing as he was borne back to the stage.
Small but packed venue + awesome band = win mrgreen
But yeah, since I only have one of their releases (and it's not even really a studio album in the true sense of the word), what album of theirs should I grab next?

I prefer Damage Done to Character, I love the Treason Wall thoguh, so it makes alot of sense really..........
They are a great band though

I love the Projector and Damage Done albums. I didn't fall for Character so much. It's a good album, I really don't hear any "songs" on it (I don't know if I can explain it well right now since i'm half asleep.) But it reminds me of The Gallery in that the songs kinda just flow into each other and don't really have to much of an indvidual identity. I mean, Character has single type tracks like Lost to Apathy and Endless Feed, but its hard for me to think of any other songs on the cd. same thing with Gallery. The songs flow into each other and create a cohesive whole, but don't really seem to have any individual identity. I don't know if that makes any sense, I am just kinda typing words that may or may not fit together.
