who in this guild thinks horse racing is cruel over 100 horses in America die because of racing it is just so mean there was a horse at a barn that i rode at once that got sold to a horse racer and it died

Well, in a way it kinda is, and mostly isnt.
It makes horses feel good to compete.
But the ones who get injured..

Yeah, the horses love racing but the ones who get hurt often get shot or they can't live their lives fully anymore. The reason they get hurt isn't generally because of the jockeys. Usually they: spook slip when running land funny after a jump (sometimes they have jumps) the jockey falls off and they trip on their; reins etc.

I don't know. there are a lot of horse sports that endanger a horse's life, but the same goes for a person at times.
