Introduction
(This is an rp I started in a diffrent guild, and it went pretty well, until it died. I'll open it up here and see how it goes.



Prauge is a world similar to earth. It contains a large continent of land, surrounded an expansive ocean. There are also a few uninhabited islands off in different places of the planet.

The time the story began was a time of great conflict. Long ago, the land was split into five armies, each general having a different item of power that made him unstoppable. The land was torn by war, and was nowhere near fully recovering. Creatures forged during the war, such as shambling skeletons and mischievous goblins, still lurked in the corners of Prauge. However, peace shined through the dark cloud of war. The kingdom of Man had forged an alliance with the Elders of the Elves, and ruled the lands almost completely unopposed. The dwarves stayed in the mountains as a whole, the occasional treasure seeker emerging from the perilous caves.
A small tribe of vampires remained on the island of Totoroth, but never left it for fear of the humans.
Then, the treasure hunters and adventure seekers had set off, attempting to loot the ancient dragon dens and to raid Goblin treasure hordes. The five ancient artifacts had lain forgotten by many, but not by all. Five maps had been discovered on an expedition of the desert kingdom. Each map told of a different item. The Book of the Damned, The Sword of Hatred, the Ring of Destruction, the Cloak of Shadows, and the Gauntlet of Malice all had remained untouched in their ancient shrines around the planet. Many warriors must test thier skills in oder to recive one of the items. The maps were claimed to be owned by a certain trader in the city of Middenburg. However, there were many fake maps, so the adventurer had to beware of what he purchased.

The Rp begging in the city of Middenburg. As it progresses, I shall describe more and more of the landscape. Middenburg is a fairly large city, so all sorts of creatures can be found here. the available races go as follows.

For this Rp, I'm not going to set a specific character for myself, however I wish to play puppet master with various other characters, thus advancing the plot. I've always wanted to try something like this, and I promise to be fair.

Middenburg was a bustling city, the streets always filled with people. The city was surronded by a huge ston wall, which kept out many attackers, the only gate a massive one in the South of the city. The north part of the city was the Nobilities territory, a large stone wall spereating it from the rest of Middenburg. The center of the city was the shopping districk, almost every building a store of some sort. People said' If it couldn't be found in Middenburge, then it was fake.' The east was the slums, where the poorest of the poor gathered, sickness and plauge rampant. The wes held the houses of the many people of Middenburg, most of the buisness in the center. the south was where the town guard barracks and the prison were. Not alot happend there during the day, but if you wanted a shady deal or a hired hit man, then there was the place to go after dark.
The main bar of Middenburg, The Angry Dragon, was located near the border between the Center and the South. Many travelers passed though there in thier stay in Middenburg, and it housed all manner of ruffians ans scoundrels. If one was looking for trouble or information, it could always be found at The Angry Dragon. the tavern had been owed by the Simi family for generations, and the current owner and opperations, Frimi Simi, was no one to mess around with. Frimi had a tough look, from breaking up and getting in hundreds of fights. Frimi bore scars from several of them, his most obvious was his missing eye, covered by by a large black patch.

Frimi noded, and filled her a glass of wine. He placed the glass in front of her, and took two of the gold coins. He picked up one of his cups, and started cleaning it.
"Can I do anything else for ye?"

Frimi looked around the barm then leanned in closer.
"I see. You be looking fer a map. A stranger came though here a few days ago. He had long grey-white hair, and yellow eyes the looked into youre very soul. He left this map as payment for his drinks. I'm sure he left others around the city too."
Frimi took out a map from his pocket. It looked old, but had a power to it. The map seemed to make you look at it.
"I had one of me friends translate it, you see. Not written in out tounge. The pictures are the same, but the words...
Says its a map to a book of some kind.
The Book of the Damned."

"You sure can purchas it. Its real, trust me. Only I'm not going after this treasure. Thoes days are behind me, you see. but I suppose I could sell it to you fer...
2o gold."
He held out the map for her to look at, so she could make sure it was real.

"I told ye it was real. Now then, do ye want the map or not? I can find other buyers."

"Pleasure doing buisness with ye. If ye need a place to stay, the Inn down the way will find a place for ye. Just say Frimi sent ya. Oh, and watch out for Grimitz. Hes one of the help at the inn, but he a goblin. Hes crazy fer gold."
