There is a prophecy in the mythical world that one day a boy will come from the human plane and become their savior. For many years no one in the mythical world understood what this meant until a great and evil sorceror came and overpowered them. Now their only chance is this boy, a water elemental, and the five other elementals to save them from eternal enslavement.

((Okay, a few people have joined, so I think we can start this rp, and maybe more will become interested. ^^))

Amara ran, the arrows silently running past her ears. She only felt the air rush by her cheek. Her feet pounded the ground as her breath came in frequent bursts. She did not know why this was happening to her. For a year now, she has been attacked, outcasted and slowly abandoned by everyone she thought she loved. Why? She herself did not even know. She had been chased down multiple times, it seemed as if every clan that attacked, came for her, for her life. Everytime she has returned to her own clan, which has eventually lead to where she is now. Abandoned. Everyone in her clan is afraid to be near her, knowing she is the one the enemies seem to want.

Her clan was ambushed earlier this morning, the reason, she could only assume herself. Many were killed, many other things were burnt to the ground. She had become sick of this frequent quarreling, and even more sick of being left in the dark, knowing nothing. But here she was again, being chased down for reasons she did not know. Her only assumption were the weird things that have been happening to her. She didnt tell anyone though, they would be freaked out, and probably hire someone to kill her themselves. She could trust noone.

Amara yelled in pain, as the tip of an arrow connected with her right arm. Embedded very close to her shoulder. She clenched her teeth, hatred filling her body. Who were these elves, creatures, people.. and why were they so interested in making her their next victim. She ran behind a large tree, and pressed her back up against it. She closed her eyes, listening intently, they were coming so she had to act fast. One of these times she was not going to return to her clan, her clan was probably hoping for it.

Amara clenched the arrow with her free hand and through gritted teeth, yanked sharply, releasing the arrow from her skin. She threw the arrow to the ground, then she ripped a piece of material from her long cloak, that is clinging to her neck. She wrapped the, ice blue material, around her damaged arm, and pulled it tight with her teeth. She paused hearing the footsteps approaching slowly. No doubt about it now they were trying to sneak up on her. For some reason she believed they did not want her dead, they wanted to capture her, but why? Still another answer she did not know. She spat the end of material out of her mouth, and stood waiting.

There weren't many. This infuriated her, if they wanted her so bad, could they not come more prepared. She shook her head, as she counted five different footsteps. "Pathetic" she murmured through clenched teeth. This was going to be a slaughter, adn she was confident it would not involve her life. Her arm groaned in pain, but she ignored the pounding sensation striving for her attention. Her ears pricked as she heard them, very close now, they were definately trained, or they would not have survived the defense set up by her clan. But, she could guarnatee, that none of them hads been through what she has been through over the past few years.

One was very close, on her right, another one directly behind him, yes they were male. She could tell their pungent odor reaching her nose. Another two were on her left, and another directly behind herself. They were definately up to something, their formation proving it. They did not want her to escape. She gripped her bow tightly, and pulled it from its resting place on her back. She knocked an arrow from the quiver, that housed itself on her side. She was ready, to take aim, and charge. They were not getting what they wanted, and she was not giving up without a fight. She was born for this kind of battle, she was born to take charge, she was born to protect herself, and that is what she planned to do.

She walked slowly from behind the tree that provided her shelter. She raised her bow and aimed quickly, directing it in front of her. She released the arrow, and watched it soar through the bushes. She heard it hit its mark, and heard one of her stalkers fall hard to the ground only one moan escaping his throat. Four elves charged in her direction, she could see them now. They were large, and they were strong. But she had agility, stamina and skill on her side, and they have never let her down before. She knocked another arrow, aimed, and caught another one of the elves in the leg. He fell to the ground. A dark colored elf approached from her left, swinging hard towards her stomach. She crouched to the ground, avoiding the punch, while swinging her leg around, taking his feet underneath of him. She brought herself back to her feet, and knocked another arrow, and embedded it in his chest before he had a chance to react.

She fell to the ground on her hands and knees, as one of the last elves, had brought his fist to her back. She spun herself onto her back, as she felt his hands grabbing her legs. She kicked outwards fast, catching the elf in his shin. He fell to his knee, and she launched another arrow into the middle of the elf's forhead, his lifeless body falling onto the ground backwards. She jumped up straight just to be grabbed by another elf.Her bow was forced from her hand, and fell awkwardly to the ground. She kicked and squirmed ferociously and forced her elbow into the elf's gut causing him to release his grip on her. She fell to the ground, and quickly retrieved her bow. She knocked an arrow and turned to face her victim. "Why are you here!" She yelled in the drow tongue. Her victim just laughed and looked at her, a smile spread across his face. "And why would I tell you" He responded in a gruff voice. Another laugh escaped his throat. Amara tightened her jaw muscle,a s the anger welled inside of her, she was about to burst. She turned quickly and claimed another life with her arrow, the elf she ahd shot in the leg earlier. Then she brought her attention back to her victim.

"Answer me!" She shouted again. The elf looked at her, and closed his eyes. "You have noticed the changes! Dont tell me you do not know why everyone is after you. You think you are so much better than us all, just becasue you have control over fire." Another laugh escaped his throat. "You are alone, noone will allow you to be around, everyone is always going to want to kill you, you are always going to be haunted. What makes you superior to us all, is also what is going to cause your death." His mouth spread wide. Amara looked at him, her hatred coursing through her blood. She did not know what he was tlaking about. SHe was not special, or superior. "You are lieing!" She screamed, as she released another arrow killing the fifth and final elf.

The breeze blew warmly in the vivid sunlight to swarm upon Evanna as she relaxed up in a tree, her back nestled against the dark bark. With a sigh she looked out to notice the sea just beyond the cliff near by. The clear sky told of a beautiful day as the warm sun light showed radiantly off of the surroundings. And Evanna could not help the smile as she watched Blaan fly in the distance, diving towards the waters every once and again. The sound of foot steps drew Evanna from the day dream and pulled her gaze towards the ground to notice her friend Bianca. At this a mischievous smirk crossed her lips.

“Evanna, where have you gone to?” Bianca spoke, more so to herself considering she did not expect Evanna to be near by.

Evanna drew her dark wings closer to her as she leaned forward waiting for the right timing.
Right about.. now Evanna thought as she swung down from the branch to hang up side down in front of Bianca.

“Heard you were looking for me?” Evanna said after Bianca jumped back with a yelp.

“D-d-don’t do that! I hate it when you scare me like that!”

“I know. That is why I do it.” Evanna swung down from the tree to land in front of her friend. “So whats up?” She turned to her friend with a hand out to allow Baan a landing spot as he dove in.

“Your mother was looking for you. She was afraid you had finally run off.”

Evanna’s expression kitted. “She should know me better than that.”

“Well it is a relief to see you just bumming about.” Bianca stuck her tongue out at Evanna sarcastically.

“What ever. I better get home anyways, if not only to make my mother feel better.”

“The whole village is worried when you will finally leave even though the elders say they think it will be soon. Is that true, Evanna?”

“I haven’t much thought about it, truly.” Evanna started walking away, knowing Bianca would follow.

“Don’t pull that lie on me. What were you doing out here then? I know you want to leave this place. You’ve always talked about adventure away from our peaceful village.”

Evanna was quiet for a moment before she turned back to her friend to match her gaze. “Yes, that is my dream although such dreaming is not always meant to become reality.” A silence broke out between the two for a moment when a wooden arrow cut between them. Evanna jumped back surprised and Blaan taking to the air again as she looked towards where the arrow had come from. Two winged beings were noticed from a distance as they landed just atop a hill.

“Evanna, do you know them?”

“The last time I checked Friends did not try to shoot you with arrows just for fun.” Evanna grabbed Bianca’s arm. “Come on. We might be able to escape them.” The two friends took off in the opposite direction of the two attackers.

One of the attackers merely smiled and took to the air again. “They are falling for it.” He said to his companion as the other man also took to the air. “It should not be much longer before we have her in our grasp.”

Evanna suddenly pulled Bianca to a harsh halt, her expression wide with confusion. “They have us surrounded. But why?” She traced the brush surrounding them knowing others like the two attackers were hiding near by.

“Then what can we do?” Bianca asked.

“Fend them off. You ready?” Evanna held out one hand so that with a flash of light her staff appeared with the curved blades at each end.

“I hope so.” Bianca spoke unsteadily, she never liked to fight. None the less she held her hands out to form two kodachi’s.

The two original attackers landed behind Bianca and Evanna. “So you are not going to come along quietly?” One asked.

“Hell no. I would never make your life that easy on purouse.” Evanna spat “Now what is it you want?”

“Your life.” His voice turned raspy with grudge as his companion loaded and shot an arrow at Evanna on cue.

Evanna moved her staff to cut the arrow in half to block it, but more arrows came from the bushes surrounding them. Bianca and Evanna moved together to block the arrows, circling the area they held. Within the mitts of the chaos a man lunged forward with a blade ready to strike Evanna down. Evanna was to slow to dodge although she managed to parry the blade with her staff. The unsteady force caused them both crumbled although it pushed Evanna back and the man on top of her. Yet Evanna reacted first to kick the man up and over her to knock him away as she came around with the back end of her staff to whack the man unconscious. Evanna stumbled to her feet to be ready, although to slow to parry a stray arrow that in lodged itself in her left shoulder. “Ack! Damn it.” Evanna turned with a hand out stretched speaking a phrase in Latin meaning ‘hand of god.’ A force of light suddenly expelled out and burnt threw a collection of bushes to disintegrate who ever hid in the area. She winced before she used a free hand to rip the arrow out and toss its remains to the ground.
The arrows abruptly stop for a moment before the remaining men jumped out from the bushes weapons in hand. There were 6 or 7 men in total, all appearing to be from the same clan. And they all came for the same reason- Evanna.

“Evanna, are you alright?” Bianca asked over her shoulder even as she faced forward towards a few men.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I’ve had worse.” Evanna groaned as she fell into a defensive position with her staff held read. “Come on you half-weights, unless you are to scared.” Evanna taunted.

The surrounding men reacted to the taunt and all came forward with their weapons raised, whether they wielded a sword, hammer, dagger, or any other hand held weapon.

“Ready or not here they come.” Evanna smirked watching the men approach. Then, as if Bianca and Evanna had practiced such a situation before, they unleashed a furry of blows to counter each of the men and drop them all to the ground in what appeared a festive dance filled with flying blades and a staff. Soon all the men were grounded and the two women stood within the mitts of the battle zone, content with their success. “Well that seemed easy enough.”

“You only say that because you didn’t do all the work.”

“What?! I did plenty of the work! Probably more then you.”

“Haha. Believe what ever you think!”

“Fine, I will then.” As the women prodded each other with comments they took to flight to return home.

It was near supper time by the time Bianca and Evanna returned to their home village. With the usual “Where have you been?!” skit from Evanna’s mother and a trip to the doctors to get her shoulder patched up, everything appeared fine. It was later that evening while Evanna was laying out in the grass with her friend watching the stars and moon above that she finally made up her mind about leaving. “Bianca” Evanna started off “Those men from earlier. I bet they were after me.. like the elders foretold.”

“Why do you believe everything those oldies tell you?”

”They’ve never steered me wrong before.”

“Uh-huh. And now your point is?”

“Maybe I should leave. You know, to be sure no harm comes to this village.”

“Hmm.. I knew you’d say that one day.”

Evanna blinked and rolled her head over to see Bianca. “Why do you say that?”

“I always believed the elders too. And they’ve been foretelling of a black winged prophecy from our village from a long time now.” There was silence again between the friends. “I know that’s you. It has been your destiny from day one.”

Evanna sat up while still looking at her friend before she smiled. “Thank you for understanding.” Evanna looked up towards her house on the hill. She could see one room lit by candle light where here mother would be. “I guess its time that I followed my path then. I’ll make leave tomorrow morning.” Evanna stood as did Bianca and they hugged.

“Godspeed.” Bianca whispered into Evanna’s ear. “I’ll be waiting for the next time we meet.”

“Yeah, same here. Just take care mean while.”

With that Bianca left for home and Evanna returned to her house to tell her mother the decision she had finally made.

Morning came quicker then Evanna would have wished. She was some what nervous about leaving although she knew it was the right thing. Packing a few things up in a bag to take along with Evanna walked from her room to see her mother teary eyed and waiting at the front door. “Mom…”

“I’ll miss you.” Evanna’s mother smiled. “But I knew this day would come.” She pulled Evanna into an embrace when they were near enough. “Please, just be careful.”

“I will. Thank you for everything.” She squeezed slightly tighter. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” They released the hug and withdrew from one another while Evanna’s mother dabbed her eyes dry again with a piece of cloth. “Just remember your home will always be here.”

“I know.” Evanna opened the front door and took a few steps out before she turned back to her mother and blew her a kiss. “Untill we meet again.” She chided before she started her way down the path and out into the new world.

Silva layed on the ground, astonished at what he was seeing. In front of him, was a figure of light. It had appeared to him as he was walking through the forest, as he always hed. He had never seen anything like it...

"What... what are you?" He asked, in a shaky voice. Hearing himself speak was strange, since as a wild elf, he rarely had others to speak to.

"You already know me. I am the one you have worshiped and lived with your entire life. I am mother Gaia. "

Silva was dumbfounded. This figure in front of his was the embodiment of mother Gaia? The earth? He opened his mouth to speak, but the figure held up a hand to silence him.

" is no time. I cannot maintain this form for long.
But there is something i must tell you.
All your life you have felt a connection with the earth. You have been able to communicate with animals, and even the plants seem to whisper to you. This is because you are the Earth Elemental. You are my avatar, and you embody power over the worlds creatures, and even the earth itself, once you'r ready. Up until now, your power has been but a shadow of it in its full. But today, i will awaken that power."

Thoughts raced through Silvas head, to fast for him to comprehend. It was all to mutch, all at once. He was completely dumbfounded.

"Once your power has awakened, there is a task you must accomplish.
In the world outside of the wilderness, a great sorcerer has overtaken the peoples of my world. He has enslaved them to do his bidding, and he must be taken care of."

With that, an image of the sorcerer appeared in Silvas vision. He memorized the face, and continued listening to Gaia.

"You cannot defeat him alone. You must seek out the other elementals, throughout the world. With your combined power, you can overtake him, and restore freedom to the world."

After that, mother Gaia showed him images of all the elementals, and Silva memorised each of them.

"As for the dark elemental, i have no connection with him. I'm not sure why, but i the sorcerer may have something to do with it. Maybe he hopes to recruit him into joining his cause.
You first must find the fire elemental. She is several miles directly east of here. Once you find her, explain to her what must be done, and then contact me. You can contact me by meditating and calling out to me in your mind.
I wish you luck."

With that, the form dissapeared, just as suddenly as it had appeared.

Silva continued to lay there, breathing heavily.

His life had suddenly completely changed, in only a few moments time.

Silva stood and began walking in the direction mother Gaia had indicated, his mind still a daze of whirling, incomprehensable thoughts.
