Basics of This Thread: Last Updated 10/19/06 (Still revising. <33 Intro is now done.. for the most part. I have also added some siggy/profile banners. You can see them on Page 6)
Mommi and Kagome suggested earlier that I make a new topic for my own stories (actually, this is only one story). So here it is. 3nodding biggrin My writing skills are significantly different than Mommi's.. mostly because I like to write long, colorful, sometimes dramatic stories. This thread will be a long story I write using characters in the guild as well as other, less-important characters.
I write in parts, sometimes very far apart, sometimes less so. But they are relatively long when they eventually come up. I try to change the poll when I update, so even coming just to poll whore is a good idea.Table of Contents:

If you don't care about any of that, but would still like to be used in my story, then I'll use the description closest to your avi and make up a name for you as well as age and personality. You still need to send me a PM with the form above copied and pasted (even if it's completely blank). biggrin If you do not tell me not to do something specifically in your PM and do not tell me with a reply when I reply, then I will consider it open territory. I will try not to kill any guild characters though. =]
Other ways to be involved include: using some of my banners (found on Page Six, Post Three) in your profile and siggy, polling, reading, and posting. All of this is deeply appreciated.
Quick Note: See if you can guess who is who in the guild and story by what you know of them. The list below is so you know which characters are represtantions of a guild member and which members are characters.

However, it won't have any sex and as most Americans are desensitized to violence, I'm pretty sure the story won't cause any nightmares. Even so, let me know if you are uncomfortable with something through PM and I'm sure we can work around certain description in future writing.

Alce: (All-c-ae) A small country surrounding The Mecannoran Chaeè. Alce is the most powerful country on Dul Razon.
Dul Razon: (Dool Rass-on) Inhabited yet unreported continent.
Gloica: (Gloi-e-ca) Isolated country in the Western mountains.
Great Alce Wall: (Great All-c-ae Wall) Surrounds the grave of Old Saint Luke Ryan and The Mecannoran Chaeè. Wall built by Michael Ryan to keep people away from the combined sites.
Kadan: (Ca-dan) Country which controls water-trade routes and hosts the Dul Razon Marketplace.
Kaz Reef: (Kaz Reef) The reef to strand humans and creatures on Dul Razon. The reef encircles the entirety of the continent, making ship passage impossible.
Leqcania: (Leck-sane-ia) Biggest country on Dul Razon.
Lucky Woods: Actually a forest that is known for miracles of healing. In Leqcania.
The Mecannoran Chaeè: (Mec-an-nor-an Shay) The most respected and feared landmark on Dul Razon. Initially discovered by Old Saint Luke Ryan, now is the center of Alce.
Mount Teerishai: (Mount Tear-i-shie) Most populated mountain on Dul Razon, home of much of Gloica.
Old Leqcania: (Old Leck-sane-ia) First piece of land the Dark Leqcers conquered: now is their home and country.
Pline Pass: The narrow way up the face of Mount Teerishai.
Racanstan: (Rack-an-stan) Fields people and mining country.
Raipan Bay: (Rae-pan Bay) The Kibanans pride and joy: the Raipan Bay centers the continent’s biggest marketplace and has access to major water routes.
Rasamarck: (Rass-a-mark) The capitol of Leqcania.
Characters:
Bill the Baker: Healed at one point by Caroline, owns a small baker in Nao’s village.
Caroline Koontz: (Care-o-line Coon-tz) A mysterious healer who lives in Lucky Woods.
Duke and Duchess New Bonds: New Bonds is one of several of the royal houses in Leqcania.
Elias Ryan: Son of Michael Ryan, Elias is now King of Alce. His interests don’t stray far from his father’s. He has no heir and seems to favor Julius for the throne.
Elizabeth of Elyon: Duchess of one of the two royal houses in Alce, she travels to foreign countries to attend their events in place of her husband and Elias, the current king of Alce, with her son, Julius.
Julius of Elyon: Handsome young lord of the Elyon house, Julius often accompanies his mother to foreign royal events. He has a young fox called Myoki.
Linda Omo: Wife of Raymond Omo, she was a carpenter before arriving on Dul Razon.
Lucas: A figure of enormous repute in various places, but hardly even seen.
Michael Ryan: Old Saint Luke’s only son and first King of Alce, Michael was given his father’s responsibility over The Mecannoran Chaeè. He founded his small country around the ruins and built the Great Alce Wall, banning all from coming within its borders.
Minaokawa Himeshite: (Mina-ock-aw-a Him-shi-te) A unique village girl who often visits Ms. Caroline in Lucky Woods. Also called Nao.
Old Saint Luke Ryan: Originally a Leqcer, the Saint traveled through the mountains and most of the biggest underground tunnels in Dul Razon. When he discovered The Mecannoran Chaeè, Luke remained to guard its secrets. Through his victories and the amazing occurences around Razed Stone Arch, he founded the first successful religion on Dul Razon.
Raymond Omo: Adventurer who stumbled across Dul Razon with his wife.
Renagard: (Ren-a-guard) A traveling merchant and acquaintance of Zuga.
Zuga: (Su-ha) Traveling woman often seen alone in the South, looking for a man named ‘Lucas.’
People/Creatures:
Dark Leqcers: (Dark Leck-cers) Thriving military populance- initially forced the first creatures on Dul Razon into extinction or hiding.
Gloicans: (Glo-ee-cens) Educated and patient minority to the rest of the continent’s populations.
Kibanans: (Ki-bane-ans) Controls the Raipan Bay and most of the continent’s market goods. Arrived same time as Gloicans.
Leqcers: (Leck-cers) The first human fleet to be wrecked by the Kaz Reef. Now possesses largest amount of land.
Racaneans: (Rack-ane-eans) A people who are particularly skilled at farming and mining. The Racaneans live in a migration pattern: there are hardly any towns or cities in their country.
Raldaen: (Ral-dane) Intelligent tree-like creatures who inhabited most of Dul Razon before retreating into hiding after Leqcers arrived.

Introduction
For centuries Dul Razon had patiently stood through its various changes. Time proved sluggish to its shores, networks of caverns, and its various landmarks. As creatures slowly began to inhabit the plains and mountains of the vast continent, Dul Razon watched peacefully. Even the dark crisscrossed tunnels nestled in clumps around the land became comfortable for many species and small communities. There was never a stunning speed in progress before the first humans crashed into the continent’s encircling reef.
As the first of the storm-swept men and women began to build their grudging homes on the continent, Dul Razon’s impenetrable measured pace vanished. The transition was too quick: the tree-like Raldaen, who had been the dominating species for centuries, hid or died as the most violent of the humans, a group called the Dark Leqcers, began to clear out large amounts of land for their people. Crude cities sprang up from villages. As more ships were ruined by the Kaz Reef, land was divided into large countries for the Leqcers, Kibanans, Racaneans, and Gloicans. Smaller groups of people who had not been in a large troop of ships when wrecked seized their own land or merged with a larger country.
Though most of the land in Dul Razon has been devoured by claims and borders, several dark places still remain untouched by human influence. These places harbor the outcast civilizations or a frequent lonely beast. One man and his apprentice have gone as far as to explore most of the North-Eastern caves and snow-peaked mountains. He is the savior of those stranded, the figure to have made the most difference in Dul Razon from the moment people began to land on the continent: Old Saint Luke. His most important discovery is the ancient structure that became the most mythical and respected place Dul Razon possessed: The Mecannoran Chaeè or Razed Stone Arch.
Saint Luke’s people were the protectors of the site. Unfortunately, the Saint’s death gave the duty of the Mecannoran wreckage to his ambitious son. Instead of keeping the landmark maintained and purely religious as his father had wished, Michael created a country around the stone structure and banned any from stepping past the Great Alce Wall, a large guarded stone barrier he had built surrounding The Mecannoran Chaeè. Newfound Alce would become the most powerful country on Dul Razon through the ancient and mythical place. However, the long isolation of The Mecannoran Chaeè influenced ill will around Dul Razon and would cause the mysterious reawakening of Razed Stone Arch.
