what the heck has been going on lately!? i go on cnn.com and there's been like 3 school shooting incidents in under 2 weeks!!!
i think all schools need to wise up like Los Angeles. Funny how some people make fun of Los Angeles schools for being "ghetto", having security and metal detectors stare

I know, the first was a creep targeting blonde girls, the second was a student angry at the principle, the third was some angry milk man with an old grudge or something against girls.
Pisses me off.
Edit= I think the second was just some kid who angry at the principle, and heard about the school shooting on the news so he thought "hey, why don't I go shoot him?"
Still, the first and third, creepy.

....They have had armed cops around my school since before Columbine, and then right when I moved they were putting up metal detectors, they have random searches through peoples stuff taking all their electronic devices and such. Its pretty ******** up.
Mind you, the most recent shooting was from some old guy going in there and doing it, not some kid. But never the less, its a ******** up situation, to think that a school is now a place to be frightened of. When I used to just think it was a place to sleep...

My school got cops patrolling the hallways.
And it's all Ill Bills fault for making anatomy of a school shooting.

All this really creeps me out.
How do kids get their hands on firearms?
I think it's weird that that milk man thing happened to a bunch of Amish people...because that shows that school shootings and stuff are happening on a large scale if even a isolated community such as the Amish can have it happen.
It makes you wonder what will happen next........

We have always had police at my school, we have always had drug busts/fights. We even had a bunch of fake gangsters have a freakin fight one year...... s**t gets stolen everyday.......and this isn't even the ghetto....SUBURBAN MIDDLE CLASS OUT OF ATL.

so, my school was only 7 years old, and in ******** nowhere. and never once did it actually ahve an actual threat.
we had some bomb scares, jsut some kid pulling a prank before cellphones showed on caller id.
and we had one kid who was a grade higher then me kinda go knackered and actually plan out how to fire bomb the school, but they caught on tossed him in councelling and put him on med's
the going theory was no one would ever actually try to attack the school, due to the fact everyone was so well armed, at least a 3rd of the vehicles in the aprking lot had at least 1-5 guns in the back of them (hunting rifles and shot guns and s**t). so if they tried it they'd maybe get 3 people and then someone would take them out. totally not worth it.

We get cops at my school every now and then, but it's not exactly "dangerous". A lot of people like to over exaggerate and say that there are fights every day and that we're on probation and stuff, though.

School shootings only happen in the US.

Now that I think of it, we have pickpocketing, too. My friend bent over to get a soda from the vending machine and when he got back up 5 dollars were missing from his wallet.

Argh.. I think there's a serious social breakdown right now.. :S
At my old school (dropped out), there were cop cars in the front every other day because of stupid people ganking each other. Recently in the news in toronto there were 2 shootings, youths, both shootings were in 'ghetto' areas, one in the east side and one near my grandma's house. :S Recently one of my friend's lil 8yo bro got hit from a drive by, like what is up with this world?
I dunno if the solution is to sink more money into school security. If it's not in school, it'll be schoolkids f'in each other up outside of school, on the bball courts, inside the apartment complexes. Better solution : rework the social security system, child services... Parenting courses, I dunno. Get absentee fathers more involved in their kids lives. Provide better role models. Lotsa stuff.

PS. How do kids get their hands on this stuff? c***k and viet dealers, breakins into gun collectors homes.. a lot of the gun crime in canada involves smuggled guns from the states. big issue. :/
