What is with people automatically thinking skaters are drug addicts...although i cant blame em that much cuz most of the skaters in my town smoke anythign you can think of. but thats besides the point
Does anyone know where everyone got the idea that all skaters are drug addicts?

you know thats a good question..well almost half the skaters at the park i sumtimes went with they all smoked pot and did all sorts of drugs..so.. but not all skaters are like that....i guess where skateboarding came out in all back then when drugs were "in" and then everyone smoking pot got into skating..i think its an old person saying...you know? there arnt many younger people who are like oh skaters are druggies...

yeah its irritating..ive been accused of doing drugs..ive never been into that whole drug thing anyway..its pretty stupid really...but if you skate or anything i dont see any time for that you know? if
you like love skateing like my ex..he stopped doing pot and became way
more involved with skating..now hes sponsered but thats not the point..
lol but its just dumb when you see people doing drugs your close to..

no kidding, my best friend is hooked to pot ever since he started hangin with the skaters at the park >.< sure i respect the skaters...cuz...theyre better than me.and yeah the whole idea of drugs is gay

yeah the whole drug thing its really stupid..ill have to take back the thing about neal not doing drugs anymore..hes gotten back into them...he dosnt talk to or hang out with anyone form the skatepark hardly anymore except the ones who do pot there...so i guess he has the title of "idiot of the year"..it could really screw up his sponsership with Wake n' Skate down here...they are totally against that junk and then he goes out and does it...its dumb...

yeah i noe.. he recently started up again.. i dont even really know why either.. he hadnt done drugs for like 5 years or so and hes back doing them screwing up everything hes set out to accomplish in life.. hes a major idiot.. he started back up at the begining of school.. i guess because an old friend of his ( whose way into drugs seriously into them) came back... they were like drug buddies or w/e lol i dunno bu its dumb..he needs a good swift kick in the a** lol.. if i had the sponsership he did i wouldnt like ever have done anything that stupid!!haha i be the most catious and well rounded person ever!! lol

our local shop, Wake n' Skate, down at the lake...he had friends who worked there and he gave them his tape or w/e and they shown it to whom ever and now hes sponsered.. i don't know their whole process of sponsering people but they have quite a few of the local wake boarders sponsered also..they competed in a comp back in august, i think right before school started...but he got sponsered by Wake n' Skate back i think last year..my friend ( neal's friend also) Allen works there and i went to go get some clothing and look at some wheels ,anyway, he and i walked around the store helping me pick out some clothes and all and he was like " did you know we sponsered Neal?" i told him no and he went on for like an hour talking about it lol...

Meh... drugs come wit any kind of instant fame. No matter what activity you're doing. Its whack as hell though. Cuz it only hinders your skating. I mean, some cats will claim that it makes 'em skate better... but everyone I've seen who claims that flops their tricks hella. It's bull.
What really pisses me off though, is all the damn groms that get into it cuz they think its the "skater" thing to do. Its ******** weak to see perfectly skilled and driven kids throw it all way on some addiction. I mean damn... if you gotta get addicted to something, let it be something like sex!! Atleast that aint got no adverse side effects. Drugs are bull... except alcohol. Atleast thats good for you in small amounts.
