I have to write something about Nina Hagen for school, but I dont know how to say: they worked toghter on the song. Can you say "Song" in German, or does it have to be "Lied" and if "Song"is possible, is it der, die or das?
I have: sie wirkte zusammen an der Song. But I think thats wrong. Can you guys help me out?

I think I'm a bit too late for that now, but you can use Song. You can also use Lied. ^^ But Song is all right and common used, too! cool

"das Lied"
"der Song"

I would use one of those:
"Sie arbeiteten zusammen an dem Lied."
"Sie arbeiteten zusammen an dem Song."

If you want to use "wirken", you can also use that, too, but "arbeiten" sounds a bit better in that sentence.
