Truthfully I have no idea how that happened. confused
It's a bit scary when you ocmpare starting out Manson to todays' Manson. They are so different. I guess it's just because he's evolved along with his music in stead of being stuck in the past.
Best explination I can think of.

im going along with what Tala said, all great minds change over time and as each of Marilyn's albums has a different feel to it, its own logo, and new/lost member(s) so he has refined himself and the band has changed with him and that means the only way we can describe the new album before we have heard it is 'different' or another synonym

Manson is going to try and steal it to throw at the next Jehovah's Witness that comes to the door, because apparently as a post in the GD uneducated me to the knowlage that dead cats are sacraligios and have been blessed by Satan so i wonder if the cats will convert them to something practical

It's just askewed version of history passed by word of mouth. Pass it thorugh enough people and it's gets so twisted it doesn't even resemble what it started as.
