Week 1 (October 1-7 2006)
What is a typical trait that an anime or manga character possesses that you'd like to have and why?

I would like to be able to climb things easier. The other day, I was watching a Cardcaptor Sakura episode, the one where Touya and Syaoran have their first confrontation of sorts, and was a bit envious of the ease that Yukito had when climbing over a fence. I suppose that ability might be considered increased agility. Anyway, that's what I would like. I would like it because it seems like one would experience a greater sense of physical freedom with that ability.

Roku
So many things I like, mostly superhuman strength and agility like the DBZ cast and the ability to fly. Also I'd like real high metabolism ^^

I'd like to be able to recover from any injury quickly. It seems like they don't stay down for long.

After thinkig about it for a while, it suddenly came to me - the trait I would want is this:

To have a physical appearance that matches my inner character. Most main and secondary characters in animation/manga/fiction/etc. have an appearance that perfectly suits their character. All too often my outward presentation betrays what it is that I am thinking, feeling or believe in. Being rid of that wretched betrayal would be supreme.

The determination to get up despite having been beaten down that every self-respecting male protagonist possesses, which invariably results in the clichéd scene which we all know and love involving the character slowly getting up, looking his opponent in the eye and declaring that he will never be beaten/his love for whatever female character present at the battlefield. Yawn. (Note the 'self-respecting' part. Being the wimps that they are, Evangelion's Shinji and SEED's Athrun fail to meet the criteria. Take that, you spineless buffoons!)

My reasons for wanting it are simple, it doesn't take much to get me down, and I tend to stay down.

Week 3 (October 15-21, 2006)
What character from an anime or manga would you most like to meet and talk with and why?

Roku
I’d like to meet with Richie from Pokemon, we have a lot in common and I find him to be a little smarter than Ash is.

Matt
Inui from Prince of Tennis. Sadistic, sinister, calulating, obssessed with raw data... Yes, I do believe he and I have a lot in common. =3

Marq
I would most like to meet Count D from 'Pet Shop of Horrors'.

I find him to be incredibly intriguing and I would love to hear more of his thoughts on the world and humanity in general.

Week 5 (October 29-November 4, 2006)
What anime or manga world would you find most interesting to live in and why?

Roku
The anime world I would find most interesting to live has got to be the Pokemon world. It would be great to travel around the world with your friends, going on long adventures and capturing and raising as many Pokemon as you can. Plus there’s no stress of the real world struggles like school or stuff like that.

Week 7 (November 12-18, 2006)
If you were a supervillain, what would you want to use to defeat your enemies and why?

Roku
I will send my entire army down at once instead of sending one monster at a time, divide and conquer. That’s all there is to it. Not only will it overwhelm your enemies but you get some land in the process. Do it at the beginning though, you don’t want those twerps to become overwhelmingly powerful!

Week 9 (November 26-December 2, 2006)
Why did you choose (insert character here) as your answer for the profile question 'Which Anime/Manga Character Would You Be?'

Roku
Gohan has always been a favorite character of mine in the Dragon Ball Z series. As a tyke, I’ve always admired and identified with him and I think his powers are just awesome; superhuman strength, great speed, can fly, high metabolism, and he freaking has a PhD. to boot! Not to mention a lovely wife and a cute daughter.

Week 11 (December 10-16, 2006)
What death in an anime or manga series would you have reversed?

Roku
I would want to reverse the death of Nicol from Gundam Seed; he had so much character potential! I didn’t like how he was killed. I’ve seen very little death in anime, but when they do, they usually come back to life or I thought they died honorably. Nicol died so young and was a victim of a stupid birth-right war.

Week 13 (December 24-30, 2006)
Which mythological creature would you find it most interesting to become and why?

Ronin
Personally, I would like to become a pegagus. Being born in the year of the horse(chinese calender), I feel that I have an affinity to the horse. Thus, it would be quite fun and interesting to experience life through the eyes of a horse. Furthermore, I would like to do this in style and become a flying horse.

Marq
I would like to become a phoenix. I would adore being able to fly free all around the world. I think that it would be a fabulous experience. I'd also love to be able to see the world throughout thousands of years, to see how society changes and see what people can create as they learn and experience new things.

Week 15 (January 7-13, 2007)
