Estoy means I am.

Estoy bien, estoy mal, etc..

I can see where you come from, though! Beginning of the year in Spanish is a little blank.

Estas is another form of the word. It mean you are 3nodding

heart

I learned in Spanish this year also that when saying "Me llamo-"

You cannot say "Me llamo es."

That would be saying "My name is."

As in, the word is rofl

So yeah.. quick reminder! "Me llamo yournamehere."

Hola.
Bien, Gracias. Y tu?

Yo Soy Ebony.
Como te llamas?
*What is the difference between Llama and Llamas?*

((On that note, I'm still in my first month too. Nice to meet someone going through the same things at the same time. ^^))

((It's all got to do with the subject. The 'Yo' form, or 'I' form uses the ending -o. So, 'me llamo' is I am called. The reason you use 'me' in front of it is getting more complex. I only just learned why. Any verb with 'se' on the end in unconjugated form needs that extra bit in front of it . . . Wow. eek I didn't even know I knew that much about verb forms. rofl ))

Me llamo Haleigh. Mucho gusto!
