I just moved to a new barn today. As long as I've had a horse I've only been at the one barn. I moved around to a lot of different ones when I was taking lessons so I didn't think it would be a big deal.
It seems so weird that Belle has a different home now. It's so big, 75+ acres. The barn we were at before was barely more than 3. Every one there seems really friendly, so I don't think I'm gunna have much of a problem settling in.
Have any of y'all ever had to change barns? Were you glad you did?

Hey,
Ive had to move barns. I was leasing and bought my horse at a farm about an hour away from my house, which was just too far. Took a long time to find the right farm but i finaly found it... my horse was jumping and had a bad attitude but she settled in and now all the people there are teaching me and helping me train her (shes only 5 and still a bit green...) Plus this barn is 10 mins away from my house!

But, I take lessons at Kelly Simpsons, so if I move away,
Ill change xD

The new one is about a 3 minute drive plus there are bike paths that lead there so I could take a bike or walk if I wanted.
