Just something ive been wondering about lately. My ex was about as unromantic as they come. Whenever I would try anything romantic id just be shot down to being sappy and stupid. So im just wondering. Is there a place for romance anymore? Do people still appreciate it?

I, personally, believe that Romance is not dead, like Chivalry is not either.
It may be that you and your partner are just totally different in that department, or that to your partner it could be a sex only thing... I mean, you never know. Right?

some people would say that romance is dead but I hope it isn't and I have always tried my best not to let my partner forget that there is still love in the relationship

I'm a hopeless romantic and I tend to feel that it's dead in most guys. I'm happy that I was proved false.

Let's see......
Last weekend I asked my wife to go and help our neighbor with her chickens. Unbeknownst to her I had arranged the need for help.(By help I mean she stood there and listened to her talk...) While she was away, a total of two hours, I had cleaned and straightened our three bedroom home, made a lovely steak dinner(Her favorite!), Drew a nice hot bubble bath, and even had candles lit! After returning from the neighbors she saw the house and thanked me. Then I sat her down for dinner (I happen to be a superb cook) and followed that with her soaking in the tub. Once she was comfy I took our kids to our sitter and returned in short order. After about an hour of soaking I came in to help her wash...... I love when she lets me do this wink After a gentle drying I led her to the Bed and commenced my signature Tantric massage.(Head to toe) This was followed by a very intense session of love.(Yes love not sex.... there is a difference.) All in all she fell asleep in my arms with a smile on her face. So, yes I believe that romance is still alive. Although it a rare breed of man that still practices it.

PS My wife says to tell you guys the following: "Back off, he's mine!"
