go to the offline quest "dr ostsos research" and then there will be a guy to the right of the principal teleport ...talk to him while u have the part....

Then you have to complete every other quest untill all quests are open.

i suggest beating all f the quests on any difficulty.....i have finished all on normal w/ my force, hard w/ my hunter, and im working on ultimate w/ my force...i still have the mines and ruins ones stressed

...Is that how you complete the WEAPONS side quest? I heard you have to get the Weapons Emblem THEN go to Claiming A Stake to get one of the required approvals. I tried that, but after beating Claming A Stake to unlock the other missions, I couldn't go back!

You definitely have to finish all the quests to do the weapons quest. it just gets you a frying pan though. It's okay for a joke weapon but it's not all that great...
