arrow 1.) Be literate! Chat speak, noob speak, l33t, and all that jazz are NOT wanted nor appreciated in RPing! It bugs the heck out of spelling Nazis and the crew members! Also, if anyone has a problem with how someone's RPing, PM a person in charge. Another thing, use punctuation, people. If you don't, it's hard to read what you're saying.
arrow 2.) No godmodding what-so-ever! This includes things such as never being hit in battle, always hitting other people, continuously negating attacks, etc. SHAKA and SHURA were even defeated. So were HADES and other GODS and GODDESSES. If they can be defeated so can you. Don't come to me saying "but Riku, Seiya's never lost a fight!". That's in the anime, and it's not really like he's never lost a fight. Besides, he gets beaten to a bloody pulp at times.
arrow 3.) NO FLAMING. I cannot stress this point enough. If you're pissed at someone in the RP, do NOT, let me repeat that, do NOT start flaming at them and going all out. Tell someone in charge, or work it out with them through a PM or eighty.
arrow 4.) If you're speaking outside of the RP, you need to use some sort of symbol to show that it's non RP related. (i.e. ((TEXT)), *TEXT*, {TEXT}, [TEXT], etc.) The only things that you shouldn't use are -TEXT- (TEXT) for speaking OOC. Because if you want to add something related to the RPs in your post, parentheses or the hyphen marks need to be used.
arrow 5.) There will be a list of characters from Saint Seiya that you can choose from. Be sure to reffer back to that topic to see who all is taken and who all isn't.
arrow 6.) Feel free to make your own characters but please, please, PLEASE, NO ROMANCE!!!! Not unless you're in a "private RP" with another person and you agreed to do something like that! I really would rather not get pissed at someone for pairing themselves up with Milo-sama (yes, I have no love life, I have to rely on somewhere to fill that gap temporarily; as do other people tend to do), and I'd rather not have other people get mad at other people for pairing up with someone whom they like from the series. The only reason why we had romance in the first place was because our former Captain was a romance maniac and didn't forsee any consequenses to do with what may happen. (The only romance that will be allowed will be romance that's already in the series.)
arrow 7.) Private RPs. Post that you're having a private RP in the topic of your RP topic, and in the first post, name the three people (yes, there is a limit) who are all in that specific RP.
arrow 8.) (More on original characters.) They are only to be used in the private RP situation. Things could get VERY messed up with we bring people's original characters into main RPs. I have nothing against original characters, but things will get confusing.
arrow 9.) There is no need to stay on the Saint Seiya storyline! Please, please, PLEASE feel free to make up your own plot line or just be random and create one along the way! Have fun, be creative, use your intellect! (If it doesn't hurt too much. << It's killing me just making up all these rules!)
arrow 10.) Keep language, romance, and violence down to a PG-15, please! I know that these will kill some people (like me with the violence, for instance; getting into graphic detail is love...), but please, for the sake of others, keep this down!
arrow 11.) Yaoi, yuri, shounen-ai, and shojo-ai aren't allowed in the main stream RPs. They can be used in private RPs, but only if yaoi-sensetive people aren't RPing in them. There are some of us who don't really care for the genre at all, and this rule also goes along with the whole "no romance except for what's in the series" thing. (Though, I do wonder sometimes about the Aphro-Misty relationship... *rotflmaooo*)
arrow 12.) Have fun! This is what RPing is all about, peoples! I mean, the only reason for all these rules is just to set a bit of a boundary so that it makes the crew peoples' lives easier, it's not to keep you from having fun! ^^
arrow 13.) Know your character! If you choose to RP a certain person from the series, be able to know them through and through! You can bend their personality to a point, but, for example, don't make Shaka into a mad scientist and don't make Deathmask into an angel! The Gemini twins are about the only two who have those two extremes. If you choose to RP a god or goddess, make sure you know the mythology behind them, and their personality! (Except for, of course, those who appear in Saint Seiya, that we've seen. Then you can just RP as how they are there.)
arrow 14.) No criticizing other peoples' characters. The crew people will come down hard on you, I guarantee this!
exclaim 15.) Another thingimajig relating to private RPs... You are NOT limited to only the characters that you selected for the main stream RP! You may divide up who all you RP amongst you and the one or two other people in your group! (But please, be sure to participate in the main RP... It needs love too!)
