Is anybody else excited about FFXII, its only a month away! Iv already got my special addition copy preordered and I’m driving to the next town for the midnight opening. The only thing I’m worried about is it going to have an amazing original storyline like VII – X or is it going to be like FF: TA (Tactics Advanced). I loved TA it was a great hand held but I think it would make a crappy playstation 2 game.

Isn’t it funny that they haven’t released XII yet and they are already showing commercials for XIII.

I already preordered it, but I wasn't thinking and preordered it from TRU. I should probably return it and go reserve it at Gamestop like I did for KH2. As far as I have heard it will have an original storyline because it's set several hundred years later than Tactics. Where have you seen the commercial for XIII?

So have you played FFXII yet? I'm about 20hrs into it and I’m loving it, though I do have a couple of problems with it.

1. The story I kind of hard to follow
2. Even though the battle system is relay fun and amazing, I don’t feel like I’m playing a Final Fantasy game without the turntable battle system
3. It's pretty hard to tell whether they are talking about Vayne or Vaan because of their accents and having the subtitles on would just plain stink
4. I really want Ashe and Vaan to end up together but I don’t know if that will even happen

But other than those 4 reasons the game rocks. Mists and Summons are lots of fun and everything is laid out great and the graphics ROCK!! whee

Anyway, if anyone else has played it yet, how do you fell about the game?
