Untitled

I walk against the wind
and the fog picks up around me
only my heart is the type of heart
that can feel alive out here
here where you said you loved me

You laid your feelings on the line
and i said i'd meet you here
i said the only way to prove your love
was risk it all without a tear

Darkness encases me
and my heart skips another beat
i watch the sun rise
and feel the dust die down

i frown and realize
you never realy loved me

un named

i still take this seat
cold as stone
un moving un living
i hear you drone

never did i ever
believe this was true
to hear you speak
and look at the dew

you called me child
you called me love
but now im un named
because of a dove

this doves name is andrew
he lives in your heart
youd rather he be near
than us apart

i know i heard my heart break
and crash to the ground
i know you know i love you
and that i am still bound

so ill still sit here
years now past
watching you happy with him

i was ready before and know im just dust
wating and watching and hoping

love me,
take me
hold me
kiss me

not him
hate him
push him
ignore him

for now im un named
by your love and your soul

im only a person
a person in love

Time

time passes by and crashes
causing us to look around
we hear the cries and bashes
and ignore those falling to the ground

we never need reminding
of the precious past thats sliding
to the ground in place
of fonder memories

the intake of breath we are leaving
the fumes of breath we are breathing
lingers like scents of long scince past

time just rushes by us
so we ignore those passing by us
[we never said goodbye to yester year]

he walks around like nothing matters
he's got his own custom fit world
time for him stands still
as he sits on his window sill

time passes by and crashes
could we truely care less?
his mother never stoped the lashes
but this he'll never confess

time keeps on standing
as the leaves keep on landing
on the ground next to discarded broken dreams

the tears for her lover
never reached his ears
always seemed to hover
'round like old forgotten years

time creasted by sunlight
touches my pale skin
burning as its been too long
so long the sun seems too strong

an emblem of love landed in the
puddle folowed by a drop of blood
mingling in the rain with heartbroken tears

perhaps it seems
we could ignore these dreams
that haunt our hearts
bodys and souls

butterfly soft kisses as his
never touched my tainted lips
though i know he wanted this

time passes by and crashes
causing us to look around
we hear the cries we hear the bashes
and ignore those falling to the ground

[the following is not an official part of the poem]

time stops for those in pain
time halts for cries and shame
but spreads as hope comes back
time is something we lack

the following has no plot and the meaning is very vague. its up for debate but really i wrote this on a whim after i told my crush i liked her.

They Told Me

You remember when you were little, don’t you?
When you were a child what did they compare you to?
I got snow…I was innocent, beautiful and complicated yet plain
But I was also cold, harsh, bitter and often uncaring.
What were you compared to? Did they ever tell you what they really thought?

When I was turning older they stopped comparing me to snow…
No, soon I became a Rose. They told me I was beautiful, yet I was still sharp
I was never a red rose though, they said I lacked love, passion and intensity
No…I was a white rose. They told me I would forever be innocent
Innocent? I asked them how they meant. They said I would understand when I was older

When you were turning older do you know what I compared you to?
Can you guess? Could you tell? As I stared at you across the hall, did you know?
When you looked into my eyes, did it hit you like a brick?
Did you all of the sudden know, even before I said the words, could you see it?
In my eyes, the passion and the love they said I lacked. I wore it on my wrist.

I still do. Even today, but still I became older and wiser yet always I was something white
I came to hate that color…you did too. We both sat there, you waiting for my confession
And I, I was gathering courage. So one day I just said it, and you told me you knew
Yet…do you really know? Time, Destiny, Fate, Love, Hate, Abuse.
What do they really mean? Can you tell me? You always looked out for me. Why not now?

I am an old woman now and they compare me to white satin curtains.
The wrinkles, they say, hold nothing against the beauty. But they don’t say it anymore
They never tell me what they truly think, not anymore
Will you do me that honor, you always had before, why not now? Tell me my Love
Why never speak your mind, when all that is there is the truth and the truth…

Well that’s a Single White Rose on a Rose bush with extra thorns.

This Monarchy

The Jack of Spades
The Jack of trades
He knows not what he do

He’ll take your dimes
So trade the Nines
And he’ll see you when he’s through

The Queen of Clubs
Will breed her cubs
In more outstanding ways than One

So clear the halls
Here come the dolls
They’ll take you in Twos for fun

The King of Diamonds
His names was Thiamond
He’ll kill you in the dark

Make fun of his Fives
He’ll spear you with knives
And you’ll kiss the fish at 400 ft in the park

But the Ace of Hearts
He will play darts
With consorts - Four and Three

So Six made the Noose
Eight hung the goose
And Seven decided that he should flee

Ah…

The Jack of Hearts
He knows his parts
And allows the Ace his bodies use

He is but a slave
Called slut and knave
He is everything if not loose

He takes the pleasure
He takes the pain
He’ll take all he can get again

He’s the Jack of Hearts
And he knows his parts
He said you can only get pleasure for pain

this particular little number has a lot of grammar errors in here and needs a lot of help. but i love her,

Kiku

I knew a girl named Kiku
She smiles everyday
She whistled in the morning
And sang the blues away

She smiles at me Monday
Tuesday Wednesday too
She never let that frown
Show its evil to you

Though I knew a secret,
One she wouldn’t tell
Her daddy was a bad man
Who should have been in hell

Her daddy wasn’t like that
Before he killed her mama
But back from prison in his arms
He called her “Little Lana”

Now Lana was her mother
The one who took the pain
She never let Kiku
Know that awful shame

So she left her Daddy
And her past behind
She came to live with me
And let that smile shine

We wanted to press charges
And help ease her fears
But she just kept on smiling
Her eyes shone bright with tears

And one day while walking home
Her eyes downtrodden still
Her daddy walked right by her
Pulling at his till

In a burst of recognition
She saw his gruesome face
She ran after her daddy
To put him in his place

We don’t know were she got it
That long sharp knife of hers
But she used it on her daddy
And placed it in her purse

They never found the body
Only the head of the c**k
We think she dumped in off the pear
Underneath the dock

So we ask her every so often
“Did you kill him lass?”
She often only smiles
And says “I kicked his a**”
