Timetime passes by and crashes
causing us to look around
we hear the cries and bashes
and ignore those falling to the ground
we never need reminding
of the precious past thats sliding
to the ground in place
of fonder memories
the intake of breath we are leaving
the fumes of breath we are breathing
lingers like scents of long scince past
time just rushes by us
so we ignore those passing by us
[we never said goodbye to yester year]
he walks around like nothing matters
he's got his own custom fit world
time for him stands still
as he sits on his window sill
time passes by and crashes
could we truely care less?
his mother never stoped the lashes
but this he'll never confess
time keeps on standing
as the leaves keep on landing
on the ground next to discarded broken dreams
the tears for her lover
never reached his ears
always seemed to hover
'round like old forgotten years
time creasted by sunlight
touches my pale skin
burning as its been too long
so long the sun seems too strong
an emblem of love landed in the
puddle folowed by a drop of blood
mingling in the rain with heartbroken tears
perhaps it seems
we could ignore these dreams
that haunt our hearts
bodys and souls
butterfly soft kisses as his
never touched my tainted lips
though i know he wanted this
time passes by and crashes
causing us to look around
we hear the cries we hear the bashes
and ignore those falling to the ground
[the following is not an official part of the poem]
time stops for those in pain
time halts for cries and shame
but spreads as hope comes back
time is something we lack
