Anyone else than me here who enjoy this movie to bits? I ordered it a while ago, and got it last week. So far I've already watched it four times.
When I was a kid, I could watch it like three times a day. It was my favourite movie for sure. I know it's a movie intended for kids, but I can't help but love it. I mean, it's great. Littlefoot losing his mom because of Sharptooth, then having to find the way to the Great Valley with the other lost dinosaurs. I love the friendship that developes between all of them; Cera, Ducky, Spike, Petrie and of course Littlefoot.
Personally I am not fond of the other The Land Before Time movies. I guess number two is okay, but the rest? Crap.

I agree the first one was the best. I feel that after the first they tried to hard to have a story line that it just went down the tubes. Some of the later movies also became a little less interesting and repetative.

i used to love the Land Before Time back when i was growing up. well, i still do but i haven't seen it in a long time. the rest of the movies weren't as good but i still like them. i even have them all recorded on vhs.

when i was a kid this was my all time favorite movie
and the only one that i've seen
isnt there like 30 other versions by now

To be honest I'm not entirely sure how many other versions there is. But I think that overall it's 11 or 12. Which in my opinion is too many. They're not that bad, I don't mind watching them, but they're far from as good as the first one.

unless he did a voice in one of the movies, you may be thinking of something else
