The Glitches

Each copy of FFVII freezes in the same spot, in Buganhagen's lab right before he starts to explain the life stream. A second glitch is that it freezes right beofr e Aeris dies ((Mine doesn't do this, but about half the copies out there do))

why does it do this, simple. When Square discovered the Sony PS it decided to make a shift from cartrigdes to disc. Although the format wasn't new (( SAega beat them to it, but it wasn't very popular...)). This shift used and pushed the limits of the disc that FFVii was made with. It may be no more than a simple overload of info, or simply that the technology at the time was still glitched out.

How old is vincent?

ah! The simple question that everyone must know. Okay, here we go! When Vincentr started in the turks he was no older than about 18-20. When he started, his first assignment was to guard Lucrecia. He quickly fell in love and some things went forth. In Japanese Comic that was release in Shonen Gangen(Square's Monthly Manga, Kinda like Shonen Jump) We find out that Lucrecia likes the Mad Scientist type, or Hojo. When Lucrecia decided ot have Seph, Vincent was still in the 18-20 range. We know Lucrecia stayed aliove long enough to establish a small relationship with her son, becuase in one of the first two Nibelheim flashbacks Sephiroth mentions his Mother's name and that he barly remembered her. In FFVII Vincent is physically 27, and most sites will tell you that Seph is 30 years old, making Vincent Biologically 57. In DoC he's 60. Scary ain't it?Cloud''s mad

Cloud had all rights to be angry, he's the shortest guy in Avalanche, being 5' 8"

Story rewrite

Origibnaly the main characters were Cloud, Barrete, and Aeris. The original script called for Aeris to die, so Tifa was added. as they began to rewrite the story, more character were added. The final product went as this. The main pplayable characters were Cloud, Tifa, Aeris, Red, Cid, Cait, Barrete. The original story also called for Aeris to be brought back on disc 3. One of the story writers felt the story didn't have enough meening, so they removed the Aeris ressurection and reworte most of disc 2 and three. In addition to that, they added Vincent and Yuffie. Vincent came first, having more back story than our ninja. Yuffie was then added even later with almost no back story. Thy added more to her and finally finished the game up, releasing it new and improved. But...there are some caves you can't get to. They were all removed during the rewrite, one contained anothr weapon for Cloud, the pother a materia stronger than the Knights of the Round.

Omega is our Jenova

In DoC Shaluia mentions Omega. When she describes it, It sounds exactly like Jenova.

Get your myth on!

There are many Myth References (English Mythology: The Knights of the round, Greek: Hades, Hindu: Shiva,Ifrit, ect) but the one mythology that makes the most appearances is Norse Mythology. The References go like this:

Nibelheim: The place where all Giants roamed. It is just below Midgar and Aesir, and is very Mountainous and Cold. The giants were the most ugly and horrible creatures around. Thought of to be scum and a bad place to be, the only giant ever allowed into Aesir was loki becuase he was handsome and well manered, or "Potty trained" if you may.(Which explains why the twon is at the base of a mountain)

Midgar: The place where all Humans roamed (Explains why it's so crowded. Nibelheim is kinda brought up in Midgar again with the plate, becuase each level of the tree of life was seperated, and Nibelheim is below Midgar, where the Giants roam{read above for the giants and below for the tree of life})

Midgar Zolom: Also known as Vrglmir (Said Ver-gal-meer). The son of the god of Chaos, Loki, He was feered by all gods so much that they cast him down to midgar where he sit wrapped around it biting his tail. If he ever lets go Midgar will end

Odin: The head of all Norse gods, Blood Brother to Loki ( They cut their palms and placed them together, mixing their blood). He rides an Eight legged Horse(Six in the game, probably cut short due to graphic limits). In Norse Myth He is Maimed, missing his left eye.

Laviathin: It's rather Close to the name of Loki's weapon Laevatinn (Said Lay-Va-tin). When said in Chinese (You can all thank my friend Ching-wa for this) It sounds pretty similar, and while there are some significant differences between Chinese and Japanese, the accent is kinda close, so, a rather big coincadnce!

Ragnarok: (some one correct me on this becuase I don't remember if it's one of Cloud's Swords or a monster attack) When the final sin is brought down upon one god byu another( in Norse mythology it's Loki killing Odin's son Balder out of Jealousy). Loki is then banned to where he came from and leads a rebel againts Odin and the gods. It is also known as the end of the cosmos, becuase Aesir, Midgar, NibelHeim and other places are all placed on the tree of life, and when Ragnoroc occurs, the tree is destroyed, Causing destruction, including Nibelheim being a blaze and melting until it is no more (Sephiroth and the burning of the town)

Jenova: The name is awfully close to Jehova (actually its a one letter difference), which is another form of religion.

Heiddegher: During WWII He was Hitler's right hand man. The Final Fantasy Character kinda looks like him too (made that revelation in American history, except i was like, He looks like a game character, but who is it. I'm looking at artwork for the Game and I just realized it)

Man VS. Nature: This Genre is the basis for every Final Fantasy except X-2 (Which is NOT twelve, it's Ten-Two, or the sequal to Ten)

The reoccuring attack: Ultima and white wind occur in every Final Fantasy, although in FFVII it's Aeris's and Cloud's Limits, and White wind has a different name.

The poor main character and his best friend: In every Final Fantasy, something really bad happens to the main character as well as the second closest person to him/her (in this case it's two, Zack AND Aeris)

The reoccuring Creatures: Chocobo's and Cactuars appear in every Final Fantasya nd some of other Square's games (like in Parasite Eve, It's a Chocoboasuaras) since FFIII, but everyone already knew that...right?

Las Vagas: In most Final Fantasy's there is a Casino like place that resembles one way or another Las Vagas, in this case it's the golden suacer, which so far has been the closest resemblance.

The White Materia: at the end of the game Cloud see's a white orb, but what is it? It isn't the white Materia, becuase It never left it's watery home. Some Theories Claim it's an image of another world, the one Jenova came from, others say its a ball of the lightstream. When you look at the scene closly you can see little white dot's, suggesting that Cloud is in Space, looking at the moon.
