I just read that this place used to be a breakdancing guild until it was changed, due to a lack of interest around gaia. I thought I might as well see who is interested within the guild. If the response is good, maybe we should reconsider adding Breakdancing as a sub-forum. If not, it's just a good way to find out who our fellow breakers and fans are, lol.
Laters,

someone said no? well, as i've found, breaking's not to everyone's tastes, but regardless, it's a key part of Hip Hop. As a wise man once said:
(about breakdancing) "It shows the world what real Hip Hop is, ’cause a lot of people think real hip hop is gangster music or black or white, or Arabic, but, nah, real Hip Hop doesn’t discriminate. Real Hip Hop is all forces put together in one. It’s peace, unity, love and havin’ fun under the oneness of God, no matter what god you pray to." ~Anon
I don't know who said it, but it was one of the voice-overs for the Star TV trailer for the Red Bull BC One championship. It rang true, I'll tell ya that.

Yup, b-boyin is cool... I just consider it part of the bigger picture of hiphop. Hence why we have b-boy threads in the Hiphop subforum.

It rang true, I'll tell ya that. that quote was POE 1 from Style Elements crew. I've been b-boying for 5 1/2 years now and i don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I didn't understand the true meaning of hip hop until I became a b-boy. It was crazy because, in learning the history of b-boying, I learned the history of hip hop. It's really amazing to see how HUGE of a role b-boys/b-girls had in early hip hop culture. anyway, i'm just throwing random info out. I dunno if it's possible to have a b-boy/b-girl subforum, BUT a thread would be nice. I'll get on that. It'll be in the hip hop forum. peace and good suggestion. -bboy Vybe Placebo Effect Crew

Awesome. One of the things I love about breakdancing in general is how far across the world it reaches as a form of dance. Not even rock'n'roll dancing or waltz, or anything like that reaches as far.
