I'm sure a lot of you heard about the Lock Down/Gun Scare at Tech. Honestly, it wasn't that bad.

So, this was my experience domokun

I was in period 7/8 Math, correcting homework when the intercom says, "Attention! Please initiate lock down mode! This is not a drill, I repeat..etc.."

So, Mr. Terlisner yells, "Go to that side of the room!" We sit there as random kids scattered about the hallways. Soon, the door is shut and my class is all, "WTF, whut is going on?" rofl

However, the intercom started intercepting walkie-talkie converstations, talking about someone at Gun Point. That's when people got scared and believed there was a random gunman in the school.

The cafeteria was also mentioned.. So people assumed someone with a gun was in the cafeteria and you hear things like, "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD! My sister has lunch right now!" Then people started telling people to pray and such.

After a half an hour, people started calming down and talking, playing with chalk boards..

However, the speaker then asked the teacher with student so-and-so to call extaion 3000 something. This girl in my class starts screaming, "THAT MY LITTLE COUSIN! THAT MY LITTLE COUSIN! Ima get outta here!" She burst through the door. Then we heard a male voice yell, "GET DOWN! GET DOWN!" My math teacher and his metal pipe went after her. Eventually, he said whatever and slammed the door shut.

It was pretty eneventful after that, and we eventually got the okay to go back to normal. We missed most of 7/8, period 9, and half of 10.

OH. For a funny story, this Juinior, Brice, missed the lock down call. So he's scared as hell, banging on classroom doors but no one lets him in.

Soon, he's running from the SWAT and various cops when they finally catch up to him and running-tackled him outside of our student center. He was handcuffed and everything rofl
