Welcome everyone... I'm really not one to open my work to the public... but please do read... and comment... I'm here for feedback.
All the works I'm willing to release are displayed here, on this post. Thank you all for being interested in my works, and I hope you find them Satisfactory.
I'm re-posting all of my poetry, just so everyone can come in and read it and so I can get a response out of some of the new people that I'm sure don't want to have to go back through the entire thread to read them.

In Darkness I lie. He devours me. I lose my mind, paranoia takes my hand. I run and scream, but only the walls of the Dark hear me, And answer back with hollow echoes. I am alone. Together with my shadow, I wander, I am alone. My fingers are stone, all I feel is the cold. I stand alone in my dark place… I am unforgiven. I am unwelcomed. I am, what I am… I am alone.
What I have done, who I have hurt, It is in the past, But the pain lingers still, a thorn in my conscience, A knife in my brain. Shadows dance on fire-lit walls, Demons howl, specters sigh, banshees wail. I am alone in this Darkness of mine. I am the outcast, I am alone.
All Hallows Eve
Dead things creep, They lie, and they wait. I walk on lamp lit streets… Despair is my companion, Want my comrade. Terror grasps my shoulders, The weight of a thousand worlds. He crushes me, and I fall.
The grit of the concrete embraces me. My flesh molds to the earth. Terrible noises, howls, screeches, They burst my ears, riding on a fell wind. I cry out, but nothing is heard but the wailing banshees. I dig into the earth, but it is no use. I am thrown from the ground, My mind dethroned. Terror is all I know, On All Hallows Eve

Love is A raging beast caged within my breast. He roars, screams, He must flee his prison.
His fury rivals the glory of the phoenix. His fire burns inside me, Never to know conclusion. The tale of a dead author, A book half read, A page unturned.
Love is inside me, Inside you, Inside us. After all these years his prison cracks.
Love is free He roams the sky. He looks down on us and pronounces, Vous pouvez me trouver au-dessus des nuages.
Love is you. Love is me. I love you Stephanie.
Are You Ready?
If you had one chance, One opportunity To seize everything you’ve ever desired, Would you take it? Are you ready? Or would you let it slip right through your fingertips? Would you give it all up for the one? Is your heart pure? Are you ready? Are you ready for the sacrifice? Is your will of iron? Or are you crumpled like an old newspaper? Are you ready? Are you the savoir of the weak Or the one beaten down? Do you have what it takes? Are you ready? Can you do it? Will you take the pain, And shoulder the burden of the world? Are you ready? Are you the knight in shining armor Or the dark lord? Can you pick up the fallen? Are you ready? Now is the time. Your time is up, Now rise up. Are you ready?
Mirrors
Why does she cry? The beauty in her eyes, Can she not see it? Why is she there, In front of the mirror. In front of a sink of blood. Why can’t she smile? Something so beautiful Gone so soon, Wilted like a rose, Unappreciated like the leaves of the trees. Now she is gone, Her life taken by her own heavy hand. Because we all failed her. We let her down. Now we hide in shame behind pointed fingers. Our filthiness we believe is hidden behind out tears, Until we look in the mirror. What we see there is a beast. Not worth the air it breathes.
But our skin of stone Lets us move on. Her beauty forgotten, The apple rotten. The first, The worst. The wilted rose, Mortal foes. Lilly white, Worldly might. All to naught For what we wrought. Why are we The ones that go free. We killed the child, Of manners mild. We shattered the mind, Our crime, the unforgivable kind. We are the worst, We are the cursed.
Bars
They tell us we are no prisoners, That we can go any time we feel. They tell us we are guests. They feed us lies. We know, because of these bars. Bars on the windows, locks on the doors. They tell us we are free. They tell us we are happy. They tell us are spirits are alive. They feed us lies. They tell us we will all go home soon. They tell us that we will all make it. They laugh as we fall, one by one. They kick us as we lie in the dust. They make us bleed. They make us blind. They curse our names. They feed us lies.
The Land of Ice and Snow
Dark of night, Lightless day In the land Of ice and snow. Forever night, No more day. Discover the land Of unforgiving snow. In the night, After the end of day Fire will burn the land, Gone is the snow. Fire lights the night Bright as day. In this charred land Where there is no more snow.
Ode to Death
Death, the Silent Messenger. The one thing feared by all man. The passageway to eternity. The only one who opens the doors, The doors to heaven or the gates of hell.
Death, the Harvester. Reaper of souls, Not pleased by wealth or power, But by the mortal souls, Which he takes without prejudice.
Death, the Great Equalizer. Race, status, position, religion… None matter to Death. All are equal to him, With no exceptions, but the One.
Death, the Guide of Life, Out of this world and into the next. With his icy grip, He takes your hand, And leads you there.
Death, the Reveler of War. Devouring the souls of thousands, Those who choose to fight, Those who die for no righteous cause. Those souls he feasts upon.
Death, the Powerful Master, Is also mastered. Mastered by One greater than you or I. One so great, so mighty, so righteous, That Death himself lost his key to Him.
Torment of Mine
This torment of mine, Not like any normal torture, Not pointed at my physicality, Nor to my personality, But to my mental will, My ability to hold to my own.
This torment of mine, It follows me. It haunts me, Stalks me throughout my life. A constant shadow, Walking in my footsteps.
This torment of mine, Some might think that it is a thought, An abstract thing. But it is worse, much worse. It is a physical entity, Something I can touch and see, Something I can love, But cannot return my love.
This torment of mine, It is a person, A person of great personal value. But this person has crushed my heart. Why? Why does she taunt me so? She gives me hopes, only to crush them. She seduces me, only to push me away. Why? ... Why?
This torment of mine, Is a friend. A friend who now sees me not. A friend who no longer acknowledges me. She knows me, But does not know who I am. I am now left with a friend with ears as stone, Never listening, not wanting to. I now sit in my lonely corner, And attempt to drive away the sadness.
Puppet Master
He watches, As each twitch of his hand, Has the power, The power to animate Entire bodies. As he watches, Eyes aglow, Mad with power, He does not even notice, The strings, Placed upon his own body and soul.
Two Roads
Looking back, One may see two roads. One road only a foundation, The other on its way To an undecided future. These roads are not unlike You and I father. I, in my aspiring youth, And you, on your collision course With a future of inconceivable result. You always warn me That the choices I make Will haunt me all my life. And looking back, I can see. I can see that It has already begun. As it did in your youth, The beginning of your end. The decisions you made, They put you on your road today. I can only hope And pray That I can make the choice, That I can find the way, To make it all right, And to end the curse. The curse that haunts. Haunts you and your father before you. But I, with my road, Will stray from the beaten path. And forge my own road From the fresh earth.
Walking Tall
However noble my humble task, They never care, they never ask. I willingly sacrifice, Though I know it won’t suffice.
I travel far and risk much, But they obviously don’t see it as such. In danger I sleep, in danger I wake, Never knowing when life will take,
Its final flight into the sky, There, forever more to fly. They spit on me in my homeland, For me to die is their command.
I risk my life so they may sleep, They are the ones my soul must keep. Even though their hate runs hot, Through their veins, this is my lot.
Why do they hate me? Why do they hate us all, we, The protectors of the state, We, the ones they hate.
I am a soldier. I am a man. I am the only one who can. As they stab me in my plight, I am the one to take up the fight.
As my friends free their dying breath, I alone stand against Death. And as he makes his way to me, I finally know, I finally see.
The Guise
Which is the ruse? Which is the man? Which to confuse? To understand?
Time in Time’s time
Time in Time’s time is true time, Purest time, simplest time, Time in Time’s time is perfect time. But even Time doesn’t know the right time. Time can only flow the way Time wants, And Time is constant. There is no time like Time’s time. But Time in Time’s time can only be but one thing, And that is time.
From One Soldier to Another
I saw the old man, Sunk into a recliner in the middle of the room. His white hair was a shroud about his head. He began to speak to the air, His conversation startling the others.
He was speaking to no one, Or so it seemed to them, But I could see. I could see. I could see.
He was reaching through time, He was looking in the past, Looking at people and places long since visited, At a face faded, Back in the deeps of Vietnam.
He was speaking to a man long gone, Fallen in the field of battle. And yet he was there, Sitting before him, Plain as day.
Seeing this man, Who didn’t let go, Made me think of myself, As he closed his eyes for the last time.
That’s What Happens When Time Runs Out
God blinks, Lives perish, Shells fall, Upon them all. That’s what happens when time runs out.
People come, And they go. Some will live long, And some now go. That’s what happens when time runs out.
In the night sky, The souls of the dead roam, Ripped from their bodies, By hooded Death. That’s what happens when time runs out.
The cracked face of death, Smiles down on the battlefield. His festival of carnage has but begun, Many more a bloody night will come. That’s what happens when time runs out.
Mash flesh, Splinter bone, The jaws of death, Swallows all. That’s what happens when time runs out.
Things go dark, I can’t see, As those ice cold hands, Take hold of me. That’s what happens when time runs out.
As I am raptured, From this life, I join the chorus of souls, In that deep, black sky. That’s what happens when time runs out.
War Song
Crack, pop, hiss. What is left is burning bliss. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. What we will. What we must. Before our eyes, The ashes’ lies. Our unseen foe, Our perpetual woe. Tongues of flame Give utter blame To the face That wiped out our race. Take up your arms, Raise all alarms, Call up your men, To the lion’s den. Here we will, Where others still Lie dying, Electrifying The night sky, Screaming, “Why? Why?” We take up our battle, To replace the rattle. And whilst we fight With all our might, At home they hear, Awake with fear, The sounds of war, And scream, “NO MORE!” They spit on us, They make a fuss. They start up trifles And take our rifles. They hate us now And we wonder how, They hate us all. And when we fall, They laugh at us with an evil frown, They take their arms and beat us down. When we finally make it back, We rejoice in the news of a refreshed attack. No going home for us now, We get to die, “pow, pow, pow.” But we crush them then, So we take our men. Home we march, The country road starch Contrast to the battlefield, On which many lives did yield. We enter town, But there is no frown, As we would expect, But instead, respect. We are greeted as heroes, Not like the zeros That we were when last here, Which we did fear. We were given The gift of livin’ In stead of death, A final breath, Like the ones our brothers took When they had their final look At this place, Such an intricate lace. Now we can see Our countrymen free. Now they know That our greatest foe Was they, Who made us pay And not those we face So far from this place On that field of death, Where our brothers took their final breath.
What’s It Like?
What’s it like To be a part Of something Worth being a part of?
What’s it like To have A friend Worth having?
What’s it like To be wanted By someone So special?
What’s it like To live In a world Where you are someone?
What’s it like To be, To exist Somewhere?
S.O.S.
Save our souls, Send our ship, Stop our suffering, Suspend our spirits, Salvage our secrets, Supplement our sovereign, See our smiles.
Atop the Flaming Spire (Dedicated to the Great Leaders of WWII)
I Atop the flaming spire, A hero’s funeral pyre Burns brighter than a thousand suns. His countrymen gave up their guns And took up the arms for peace, All because his blood, sweat, and tears did grease The coarse edges of opposition. They set aside their violent disposition In the hope that his loss will lead To the peace that they all need.
II Atop the flaming spire, Lies the ashes of a man Who wrought the destruction of his country. A man who fought to raise his home Out of the ashes. Here lies the man whose efforts it was That cut down the lives of his countrymen In senseless conflict. A man who lost. A man who could not see far enough into the future To see that it is better to bend Than to break.
III Atop the flaming spire A man of great honor and position Has been given his funeral rights. He stood his ground, looked Death in the face And laughed. He rallied his people, Stirred their hearts. And because of his resolve, They stood up And defeated the evil. They survived night by night, one at a time.
IV Atop the flaming spire Lies the man That, with his own hand Threw his country away to the dogs. As they pass They curse his name And spit upon his corpse. They don’t care that he did it for his homeland, All they care is that he did it, And it will never be forgotten.
V Atop the flaming spire Lies the man Who brought his people equality. The man who brought his people to greatness. He brought them power, A power that the mightiest of nations Would tremble before. And tremble they did In the bright future Of his countrymen.
My Phoenix
You are my Phoenix, My passion, My fire. Your Beauty is white hot, Your smile brighter than the mid-day sun. Your voice is the sweeter than the chords plucked by King David himself.
You are my Phoenix. Together we burned out, Long have we lied a pile of ashes. But today we rise from that ash, A creature more stunning than ever seen by eyes of man. And we defy that ash that was once us.
You are my Phoenix, My queen, my dream. You keep me safe when I am gone. You pick me up when I fall down. You soothe my pain and heal my wounds. You are my everything.
You are my Phoenix, My hero, my savior. You take me out of the sea And place me on dry land, Where I can walk again, And be myself.
You are my Phoenix. Yet you are not mine. I cannot take you, for you are too precious For any one soul to claim. You are beyond myself, Beyond, even, my wildest imaginations.
You are the Phoenix Of man. You keep him straight, You keep him right. You keep him clean. You keep him.
You are the Phoenix Because you are not my Phoenix. You cannot be my Phoenix For you cannot be mine, I cannot take you for my own When you have so much more to do for the rest of the world.
You are my Phoenix? You will take me? Oh, how my heart sings the joyous jubilee of a thousand years Traveling ninety-nine million miles an hour In one second, before the wall of doubt Sends me crashing back to zero.
You are my Phoenix, I hope, I pray, I wish, I want, I dream.
My Soul Cries
I Can’t Feel the Pain, for I find My blood is ice. My heart is stone. My soul is dead wood, Gnarled, stripped, and warped Beyond the magnificence of life. I am an empty shell, marked for death. I have no future, no hope, no home. I am alone. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of Death, I will fear no evil, because I’ve got nothing left. I’m the baddest ******** in the valley, and I’ve got my scars to prove it. I’ve fought my battle, I know what it is to wrangle Death to the ground and beat him into a bloody pulp. My hate, white hot passion, can carry me through anything. They can beat me down, Put me away, hide my face and ignore my words. They can destroy my body, put My flesh upon the pyre. They can close their ears, shut their eyes, hold their Tongues, but they can never crush my spirit, for it is far too compact Even now. Countless blows, innumerable crushings, they all Come down to now, when I believed them most Harmful to be my one saving grace. My soul is gone, my spirit will Live on forever, Amen.
If
The most asked question of time, “What if?” What if is a part of me, It is a part of us. What if, If.
Control
They’re afraid. Their grip around me tightening, Afraid to lose control. They don’t know me, Just what I am.
The storm inside me rages. My paranoia is out of control. I can’t find myself, And it scares me. They are coming for my while I am coming after myself.
My iron resolve Has crumbled in the rust of time. Fear makes me stumble. Something inside me moves beneath the surface And pulls me apart.
I am consumed. Fear and paranoia eat away my mind. I watch from my mental fortress, As from a distant window, As my proud self decays to nothing.
Glass
Inside my fortress, Behind my walls, I am a king. Invincible, Immortal, Powerful, I am strong. I am the storm that rages in the east.
But in the west the wilderness cries out. The people have bent and broken too long. They rise up against me, The Western Zephyr has become A mighty Tempest of Rage. Might I have gone too far? Have I not made these people mighty?
Perhaps I have made them all too strong. Might I have given rise to this revolution? What have I done? My kingdom cracked, The streets run with blood. My own people, My subjects Have changed me From my self of stone Into a man of glass.
I hide behind my walls of steel, My Iron Curtain. I am afraid, I am paranoid. I am a man of glass. They will shatter me, And I am alone.
I try to run, I try to hide. I round a corner and they are there, A pack of savage wolves Ready to crack, splinter, destroy me. I turn to run, I slip and fall, I…

Power
Eyes of ice, The freeze cometh On my wings. The hearth of the humble home Cracks and splinters in my cold heart.
Fingers grip in the chill of death, Bodies closed in a tomb of ice. Hands reach for life, eyes empty and fixed. I smash them, crush their bones Their blood runs on the earth.

Looking back, One may see two roads. One road only a foundation, The other on its way To an undecided future. These roads are not unlike You and I father. Fire scorches the earth, flames scrape the sky. The blaze destroys life. The inferno is me.
The firestorm rages, life whithers before the mighty tempest of flame. My anger rages.
A whirlwind of embers, a tempest of fire, my anger eats away the lush green of innocence burns to ash.
The storm subsides and the embers darken. My temper calms, but the damage is done.
Nothing can take it back, and I cannot heal these scars. No one can fill these holes, and I am utterly alone... the calm after the storm.

A wild storm inside me roars and rips me apart. I'm torn from this world in a torrent of violence, of lust, destruction, death, fire, pain.
I am crushed beneath the burden of this load. The paranoia cuts me inside, a diamond edge on the blade of apocalypse. I'm shredded to nothing.
My body dissolves into the void, and I join the ranks of oblivion, a face in the horde. I'm nothing more than they.
Confined to darkness my soul rages. Pounds on the walls of its prison and rattles the shackles of its bondage.
The darkness drips, as blood drips from the wounds of the fallen warrior, flooding the world and blinding my eyes.
The cold blankets my body, ice glazing my soul. I lose myself in my own mind, and cry out in vain.
Gears of War
The gears of war grind forever in the desert sun. Oil runs like blood from the battlefeild. Screams from the fallen, screeches from mechina, the desert sands are restless. The spirits of the desert sands demand atonement. Blood runs on the battlefeild, just as the oil ran before. Oil and blood mingle and a new era dawns. The earth has bled, man has bled, now is the time for us to come together, and mend the scars this war has left behind. Man against man, man against earth, man against sky, man against the universe. Now is the time for man to make amends. Now is the time for all of man to come together, but instead he is torn against the world. He fights, destroys, he ruins everything. Man and his fallacy... They destroy it all.
Sting
Her face starts to swell, the tears in her eyes and her mouth full of blood. Her jaw of glass was no match for his hardened fist. She hits the ground and he starts to yell. The blood runs from her shivering form as he towers over her, and I ask,
Does this make you feel like a real man? Hitting this woman? Striking her down? Stings doesn't it?
Tears mingle with blood as her tongue wags. She cannot speak, she cannot move. She's not getting up this time as she thinks,
Does this make you feel like a real man? Hitting this woman? Striking her down? Stings doesn't it?
Just child with a temper, he isn't a real man. He struck her down and she gave him no reason. As my knife sinks into his back I ask,
Does this make you feel like a real man? Hitting this woman? Striking her down? Stings doesn't it?
He hits the ground and groans. A mighty tower fallen. He is no man. He deserves no honor. He should die this way. I tell him,
This is what a real man does. Fights FOR the woman. Strikes her foe. It stings, venom seeping to the core. I hope you rot here. You deserve this death. To die and whither away like the dirt you are.

From the pit of darkness I hold no witness To the things that maim These eyes will never see the same Blood drips from the sky And my tears go dry. Desire’s fate rests in fire, Ice awaits the restless liar. So what happens when the earth bleeds?
The world burns by rich man’s fire. The rich get richer, the poor desire. We call the rich man a liar, He threatens us with white hot fire. Safety lies in muck and mire, Do not flea before the fire.
Dig, dig, drill and drill Oil lust outlives our will. Fire burns the unborn child, The raging inferno goes wild. Our lust for power takes our minds, Oil fuels our dark designs. Soldiers marching on, Destroy, destroy, ‘till everything is gone. So what happens when the tears are all gone?
The world burns by rich man’s fire. The rich get richer, the poor desire. We call the rich man a liar, He threatens us with white hot fire. Safety lies in muck and mire, Do not flee before the fire.
Forked tongues, sharp as knives Cut the wrist of countless lives. Liars curse and good men fall. The world is held above us all. Blood drips and falls in oil. The rich watch as the poor boil. Their eyes go wide in furious rage, The rich fear when they burst their cage. The proletariat has risen against their master.
The world burns by rich man’s fire. The rich get richer, the poor desire. We call the rich man a liar, He threatens us with white hot fire. Safety lies in muck and mire, Do not flea before the fire. Do not flea before the fire, Before the fire, Before the fire.

When things don't seem like everything's alright my walls start to crumble. The fortress of my mind desintegrates. Nothing remains but a mound of forgotten sand. An eye blinking produces a whirlwind that blows away the remains of my once mighty garrison. The citadel falls, paranoia has cut it down like the mighty oak of forests of old. The cold stone of walls forgotten. Days have passed, my mind has been left for dead on the battlefield of wits. I have been defeated. I have lost. I bow to you, the victor and bid this world adieu.
The Spider
The spider creeps on the heels of death. Silently it glides from origin to destination. With fangs like sabres he slices open these old wounds. His venom poisons the blood, my sight dims. But it's alright... I'll wait to bleed. Petals of the blossom, leaves dried and dead. Cold of stone and the heat of the fire. The poison courses through my veins. Pain unimaginable burns like fire within the walls of my soul. Cracked and charred, I'll wait to bleed. Knife in my heart, needle in my eye. Bit it's okay... I'll wait and bleed.
Empire
This land of dust, these feilds of filth were once a grand place. An empire of unimaginable wealth. But now my eyes can see. Love's blindfold has been lifted. My heart has been shattered. What have I become? The sands of time slip in the cracks of my fist. Everyone I know goes away in the end. Put not your faith in me, I will only let you down. My mind is full with fractured thoughts. Lies of the mother, and sins of the father plague my soul. In the darkness the faces laugh. Toothed grins, faded faces. The abyss calls my name. I fall into the darkness, my crown is shattered and my thrown desecrated. My empire it has fallen. I have fallen. The ashes that remain are nothing to me now. I weep for my people, my tears spill into the stream. Destruction Desolation Desire Death These drive our world. Fear in the eyes of children. Walls of our great cities crumpled like sheets of paper. Our whole world is fragile like glass. Why must we kill all of our own kind? Fire burns the witless child. White hot shards peirce the womb. Toppled, defeated, You can have my empire of ash... reign over the land of the dead. Death has no more business here... no life remains. My meager existance stands not among the living. I am a walking corpse... a mistake. My tongue is as ash, the food of my lands tastes of dust. The waters are rust. Living things burned alive, for pleasure, their pain. Agony is mine. I am the ruler of this desolate land.
The Feast
This is the feast of the Dark Ones. The children of the night, they call to you. Your blood boils at their beckoning. Dark embrace, take me away! From this land of flesh and bone! Take me to that place where men die no more. Beasts stalk in the night. This is man's world no longer. Shoved aside, all he can do is to cower in fear as he watches, eyes wide and white, like the moon in full disk, as his kind is taken. Food for the lords of the night. His blood screams from the earth, Spilled by man and beast alike. Man's end is here, in their eyes you can find the fear. Now is the time of the feast, the power of the beast.

White hot it rains drops of mercury. Everything dies in this fiery rain. Blood runs in the streets and our noble leaders grin in their bath of blood. The Lord of War has come! Behold Aeres, how he bows before him! Behold Mars! Behold Tyr! Behold Chi You! Behold Guandi! Behold Kuan-Ti! BEHOLD ALL OF YOU! The Master has come! On one knee they all fall. They dare not raise their heads against the beast before them! The beast has risen! The beast is man.
Land of the Sun of Steel
A hard light shines From bodies of steel. The mid-day sun, Fire in the sky. Disk of light Hides the darkness.
In the darkness A small beam shines. A speck of light. Blades of cold steel Cut the sky. Blood drips from the sun.
Helios, god of the sun, Falls into darkness, No more to reign in the sky. His fiery eye shines, And spies the man of steel. He disintegrates in the light.
With a burning light The fiery sun Melts the man of steel, And plunges him into the darkness. Where his all-seeing eye no more shines And his spirit finds the sky.
The forever sky, A void of light Where ingenuity shines. Gone is the sun, Now is the sky of darkness. Now is the time of cold steel.
Blade of steel, Blackest sky Shrouded in darkness, No more light. Goodbye forever sun, Now nothing shines.
Steel cuts sky, making darkness without light Light cannot survive in the darkness of the steel sun. In the land of darkness, where no light, but the steel sun shines.
Soldier! Why do you sit and cry? Why do you just wait to die? Why can't you stand up and fight? Why can't you see that you're right? Why do you sit and make these sounds, while evil in this land abounds. Why don't you fight for what you feel?
It is because nothing is real. I refuse to fight because I am strong. I know that we stand in the wrong. Why can no one see the light? It is because of their blindness, right? The blindness that you gave them, see? The blindness that you gave to me.
What makes you think they can't see? What makes you think you're so right? Look around you and see the fright. See the fright in your people's eyes, and know that those eyes tell no lies. The sky splits and thunder rolls as your comrades hide in the holes left behind in our mother earth.
How dare you use my comrades' courage to cover your dearth? Flee from before me, taste of fear in your mouth still sweet, spreading your lies no more like a fire through a feild of golden wheat. Know that I come for you, I hunt you now. Before no man do I, on one knee bow. I fight for my people, not for your agenda. I know the lies behind your propaganda. Know that I have the power over my own fight.
Comrade
Thank you for your kind words friend, though now it is time for me to lie down one last time. I take my leave of this filthy world and grasp the raiment of gods. I climb my way to a realm high above this greasy, rotten earth. I look into the countenance of the sun, and see the fiery doom that awaits us all. Then I come crashing down, back to this earth, where you wait, with your arms wide in welcome, though I left you behind. The love of a friend, the loyalty of a comrade.
Freedom Fighter's Song
Voids of gold separated by a feild of black. Tail lights, red ants marching into the night. Smoke from the fires blacks out the pure disk of the moon. The trucks grind on, the blood flows in their wake. Ahead it lies, ahead it waits. It draws our eyes, spells our fates. Fire lights the sky, the rattle of chains fills our ears. As death draws nigh, not a one of us sheds our tears. Those were taken of us long ago, with our country, families, and homes. Why do you fight? These are the words they throw at us. Why do you throw your lives away, like dry timber in the fire? You are consumed by us, we take all you have, yet you fight. For what? They know not that we fight for our freedom.
This beast within, his breath fire, a raging inferno inside me he becomes. His name, Zorn, Colère, Гнев, Wrath. He has many names, but, no matter what his name, he is me. I gnaw iron with my jaws, shrapnel peirces the hearts of the weak minded. I smash the strongest of them, his blood stains my hand. My eyes blaze with the wrath of zehntausend flammen. Ich bin das Biest, Je suis la bête, Я - животное, I am the beast. My heart is ice, my eyes are fire, my tongue is the bloody blade of the apocalypse. Flee! Flee! I ride upon the winds of death, with me I bring change, blood, and pain.

Mechina, Flesh, Bone, Blood, Oil, Iron and Steel, cold as ice, burning as fire! Bones crack 'neath the weight of iron beasts, rolling forever unhindered, Gods of the battlefield. Birds of steel and iron prey upon the beasts, devouring all they find in their path of unholy destruction. Day turns to night, the serpents of the dust prey on the less wary. Beware, my child. Beware the man! Follow not in his footsteps, lest ye go to thine own end. Fare thee well, my child, for beyond the veil of death, I cannot venture. The warrior of flesh and blood withers before the beasts of iron. The sweet smell of blood, mingled with the vile smell of rotting corpses is blown across the battlefield on a fell wind. The carrion fowl feast, the child’s eyes are plucked, his flesh stripped from the bone. A bloody screech rends the sky in twain, and night turns to day. The earth is burning, the earth is turning, the earth is silent, the earth is lost, the earth is alone, her mighty blue seas red with blood, her children murdered to the last, her empty blue skies scorched black, filled with glinting steel! Her heart emptied, her forests hewn down, earth is dead, earth is a corpse, her black lips crack with death.

My first poem in this forum... I do hope you all enjoy. This is a poem on war... inspired by a song I'm sure not many of you have heard called "Rooster." I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as I did writing it.

So people couldn't read it if they were messing with my computer. I don't like other people reading my stuff when I don't know about it... this isn't my favorite of mine... I just thought it'd be better to put out the easier stuff first...

Haha, this one's pretty short... I've got some really short ones too. Most of my poems are darker... I write on emotion... but it'll take time before I put those out there.

all mine have is emotion. Doesn't matter what it's inspired by. If it's one a song about abuse I place my self into the vic's shoes and write as if I"m that person *shrugs* I don't know how else to write anyway

chaos_incarnite91 *giggles* I don't take AP but I can show you one my english teacher liked if you show me yours Of course... here it is. It's really short... but this one's about me. I put on so many disguises... nobody but my closest inner ring of friends knows anything about the real me. I hate the real me... it's scary. Anyway... here's the one my teacher liked. The GuiseWhich is the ruse? Which is the man? Which to confuse? To understand?

*muses* Becaused I moved all over no one knows me-not even Ami *looks away* I lie and keep people away for a lot of reasons, but here it is...
Scars and lies These dark days drone of death For no one truly tells their truths These people lie and hide and cry They speak in tounges I can’t abide by
Their lies twist us all out of shape Scratching and searing our hearts and minds Everywhere I look I see their lies flying like lost ghosts They hurt all who they love, scaring them for life
Everyone’s unseen scars tell me their story In a look or a gesture of need The scars are ever healing And ever bleeding
Like snuffed candles, waiting to be relit with trust The scars I see are to me the children of jealousy The people with scars are calling out With the eternal look of lost innocence in the dark
