The kingdom of Rostithorn was a small kingdom holding little power. Rostithorn was unknown by most neighboring kingdoms or really by anyone other than the surrounding and those who lived there. The kingdom really had nothing going for it, and was soon to fall, it’s armies where weak and had few soldiers. Laws where broken all around and the forces to keep citizens inline…where not there. It would seem that the kingdom of Rostithorn was nothing but a lost cause that would soon disappear and be no more than fading memory to those few who knew about it.
Nothing but a miracle could describe the gorgeous Princess Ren’s coming to power. She was no older than fourteen when this happened. A princess not yet married could never be a strong with standing ruler, all doubts where on her. She was soon to be the bride of the handsome Prince of a neighboring kingdom, his name Verin. It was a year of her ruling alone and in that short year she had proved to be a great leader. Order was rather quickly being put back in place. The Kingdom of Rostithorn was finally going to be a great kingdom and was soon to expand with her marriage of Prince Verin. After a year of marriage Ren and Verin birthed their first son, Valryin. Two years later their first baby girl, Tentiara. Two years after Tentiara they gave birth to their second daughter, Orthae, another two year later their fourth child Frederia. Upon the next four years there where no more children birthed by Ren. However another daughter was acquired, Mastrialla. Soon after adopting Mastrialla Ren became pregnant with their youngest daughter Mailee. At the same time of Mailee’s birth Ren’s dear friend Princess Numlina had given birth to her first child, Kaori.

Numlina had been the best friend of Ren for years. Numlina was seven years younger than Ren but it wasn’t anything to stop a strong friendship that had been created between the two. Numlina had been introduced at first to Ren by her sister J’nesst.

J’nesst was originally Ren’s elder sister but had become her younger sister as the years past. She had been turned into a vampire by her husband. The kingdom was set to be ruled by J’nesst but her marriage to a commoner by the name of Adrian she was set aside and Ren was given the heir to succeed the thrown to Rostithorn. All seemed to be prefect and happy for Ren, Verin and their children though Verin was anything but a happy husband and rather. He never wished to be with Ren and was only with her as he saw it as his duty. Their children barley meant anything to him, a selfish, self-centered young man. However Verin did act as if he was happy and all was perfect in their lives. On the side he was with the one he was truly happy with, Numlina. Numlina had wanted him as well, Verin’s marriage to Ren and Numlina’s friendship with Ren meant nothing to either of them. To Ren’s knowledge everything with their family was perfect, and it seemed to her that nothing would break their perfect, loving family. Being with Numlina for Verin was a grand, exhilarating experience, it was the same with Numlina.

Two years into the affair Numlina became pregnant. Numlina‘s child was Kaori and would soon become the beloved friend of Mailee. Ren was so happy that her best friend and herself where pregnant. In excitement Ren spoke of their children being best friends and if they where a boy and girl how they would be perfect in an arranged marriage together. Guilt built up in Numlina but she remained silent and went on with being Verin’s mistress, his dark, dirty little secret. No matter how much she wanted to stop her love for Verin had grown too strong and she couldn’t bring herself to pull away from him. After each and every time she would cry, not just for betraying her friend, but for birthing a constant reminder of what they had done. The life of her daughter Kaori would be born in shame and partly unwanted.
Ren went on for nearly five years before even knowing anything about the affair. Yes, she had, had suspicions but she couldn’t prove it and didn’t want to believe it. Though…upon the night she saw them together she lost all function as she fell into a deep depression. Everything she had known, her love, her friend, all that she had come to trust, except for her children where all gone. And she wasn’t sure if she could go on.

One day she snapped. The tiny thread that held her together had broken. Ren turned mad with anger and sadness. She had sent her children away, to where is unknown other than it was to J‘nesst and Adrian, but when they where gone Ren tried to kill Verin and Numlina. She had almost succeeded in doing so. Though she was taken down by Verin and knocked out. Upon awakening she had given up and she had begun to let go of it all. To get used to it. Though it seem the pain still hurt her so. Her depression never left and she was still rather dysfunctional. The caring, loving mother she was seemed to have disappeared.

Her children worried about her and now feared her do to her break down. The affair still lingered on even though Ren had found out and nearly killed both of them. The fact that it still went on killed Ren. It seemed nothing could stop the pain of being betrayed by two of those closest to her. Though somehow, one young man made her feel as though all was well. Gabrielle. Now at age thirty-three and Gabrielle at age eighteen and soon fell deeply in love. Though, it wasn‘t to be as Gabrielle was arranged to wed Ren‘s eldest daughter, Tentiara. At first it had gave her only happiness though, over time she realized it was all wrong. She couldn’t do it any longer. Yet like Numlina she could not pull herself away. It had been a motherly love towards the young Gabrielle. Over time the motherly love she had felt towards him had turned to a heated passionate love.

The night of the celebration of Tentiara and Gabrielle’s soon to be marriage, Tentiara had found out about the love her mother and the man that was soon to b be her husband where sharing. Her fragile heart that had felt such a strong love towards both of them was crushed, shattered into many pieces and she snapped. In a blind furry of uncontrollable emotions she set the castle aflame. Soon after she alerted authorities of both of the affairs her parents part took in.

Valryin is the oldest of Ren and Verin s children and the only son. He was his father’s pride and joy when he was first born. He had always loved his father though upon learning the knowledge of his betrayal to his mother.
Tentiara is the second eldest and the first daughter of Ren and Verin. She is her mother’s image in both appearance and her mental instability.

Orthae is the third eldest and also her mother’s image. Though she may not look too much like her, as her appearance is taken from her father’s side, she is still another little image of her dear mother. She is kind and gentle and loved by almost everyone. When her mother died she was the one to take over the kingdom of Rostithorn She as her mother was, one of the greatest rulers Rostithorn had ever seen.

Frederia is the fourth eldest and is closet to her sister Mailee. She was a bit shy and didn’t do much in her eleven years.

Mastrialla is not Ren or Verin’s Biological child. She is the daughter of Ren’s sister and Brother-In-Law, J’nesst and Adrian. She took after her mother and father both as far as her Vampiric beauty is concerned. Her personality is also a mix of them as she is both bold and somewhat cold while still being warm and sweet. J’nesst and Adrian where unable to care for Mastrialla because of the up rise in slayers. They did not want their baby to be killed nor did Ren want her dear niece to be killed. She was sent to live with Ren and Verin and all of her cousins. Soon enough, being still an infant when she was adopted she grew to see Ren and Verin as her parents and all of her cousins as her sisters and brother. Unfortunately for J’nesst and Adrian their little baby girl had come to see them as her Aunt and Uncle and not her Mother and Father.

Mailee is the youngest of the children. The baby. She is a rather happy and hyperactive young girl that always seems to make everyone happy. Even in Ren’s depressive state she couldn’t help but smile when Mailee was around.

Isabella, a witch, has been a friend of both Ren and J’nesst since they where very small as she worked as a maid. Isabella however was not from their world but a world by the name of Bundesland Über Rosen. Time moves much slower than in their world. A gateway to the world however was not far from the kingdom. In fact just beyond it in unclaimed territory. An elegant garden filled with roses and vines gentle embracing the trunks of the cherry trees, weeping willows, and apple trees. A garden full of life and wonder. There, where Isabella was closest to her home world, her power was strongest.

Isabella had taken all of Ren’s children, as well as Kaori, well, except for Orthae who was to take over the throne and care for the kingdom. It was what the young princess wanted. Once the children had been gathered she had them stay safely in the garden as she went to J’nesst and Adrian. She would need them as-well. She had conjured up a utterly perfect plan so that the family would have one more chance for happiness and…well, sanity. Isabella headed back to the garden and sent Adrian and J’nesst to father the bodies of Ren, Gabrielle, and Verin.

A spell was cast-ed over their bodies to ensure a reincarnation around the same time period. Then the family, along with Gabrielle, Isabella, and Kaori would be together again. When they where finished with the spell the bodies where buried in the garden.

The two years spent brought the seventeen year old Valryin to age nineteen, Tentiara to age seventeen, eleven year old Frederia to age thirteen, Mailee to age eight, Kaori to age seven. Mastrialla being of a different race aged differently. She achieved her final age, fifteen. For all of her life she would now remain fifteen. Mailee and Kaori longer to be older as they where still practically babies in almost everyone’s eyes. Isabella granted their wishes. Mailee was aged to thirteen and Kaori to age sixteen. Why the different ages is really unknown.

Valryin and Mailee seemed to possess powers, from where they came was utterly uncertain as neither parents had any powers. None the less Isabella took it upon herself to train the both of them. Mailee had acquired a talent in Earth and Air magic, Valryin however did not seem to have any particular talent in a specific field of magic but had proven to be an excellent student to Isabella.

Legami Di Sangue is a bit of a….Cult. It was formed to get the royal family back together. Along with gathering followers in the process. The title was chosen because it means “Blood Ties” in Italian. Isabella, J’nesst, and Adrian thought it suitable in the situation. As almost all of them are related, by blood, in some way.

Each of the children where given piercings in their ears saying that they are of a higher level than those who would join as followers. J’nesst, Isabella, and Adrian took a set that was available to only them distinguishing that they where the head of the operation and almost like the deities of the cult. Each where also given tattoos, a symbol of Legami Di Sangue.
