So, you've gotta have your own theories about what's going on, right? Where things are going, what characters are really important, why they do what, etc....
Here's where you can go to discuss them. ADK and Lara aren't going to interfere, but we'd love to know what you think so feel free to theorize, post, and debate your hearts out. ;3

How was Raamah able to bond with a sentient being? My initial theory is that Raamah is Tzadik's son. Or in some other way related to him. Both have dark hair and are prodigy mages. However, this could all be the workings of the gods and they choose Raamah, rather than Raamah being related to Tzadik.

Anyone want to counter that?

Hm, interesting theory! I hadn't noticed until now, but there have only been two characters with dark hair (Raamah and the nameless girl near Adept Malkosha in pages 1 and 2).

As for me, I have a whole mess of half-baked and vague theories. Most of them are too farfetched to even bother mentioning, so I'll just put out my two main theories that I have at the moment. (Which would actually be made more interesting and probable when incorporating Aranel Dior's nifty theory) Both of them involve Raamah and Barak traveling away from the Academy. The first is that somehow the Academy is attacked, (giving those pesky underclassmen a chance to redeem themselves) and Raamah, Barak, and probably some other dude(s) (who will either be cannon fodder or long-time allies) are dispatched to either send a request for aid or perhaps reconnaissance. The other is that Malkosha (or the rest of the administration there) are kind of P.O.ed at Raamah for missing the journeyman ceremony, and as a punishment/chance to redeem himself send him on a quest to the infamous elsewhere.

As I said, half-baked vague. But this way people can shoot down my bizarre theories that don’t work, and perhaps strengthen the ones that might. (Then have them be outdated in a week or so when the authors post the next update containing the truth. C’est la vie.)

Oh yeah, and eventually their travels (whatever the reason) will lead them to Qhuchit and the Pirates, because both pirates and ninjas are just too awsome to leave out of ANY story. pirate ninja
