What if Sokka could firebend? I mean he hates firebenders alot so why cant he firebend. I mean so far team Avatar/Team Boomer-Aang has all original benders except Fire. I mean Aang=Air/but basically all Katara=Water and Tov (or whatevre its spelled)= Earth. So Sokka should be=Fire

Umm.... First off, Sokka is from the Water Tribe. By definition, if he were a bender (which he's not, not everyone can bend) he would be a water bender. Second of all, the reason Sokka hates the Fire Nation is...hmm.... could it be because they killed his mother? Not to mention they're trying to take over the world.... and are commiting genocide in the precess. I mean, look at what happened to the Air Nomads.
And finally, I'm pretty sure that they'll just find someone else who can bend fire to teach Aang.... I'm still voting Zuko for that position myself, but I guess we'll see.

Hehe ^^ Iroh was gonna be my second guess ^^ And still is for that matter... Although I'm still wagering on Zuko ^^ I think he does know a lot, certainly enough to teach someone else. His real problem is his temperment.

The show has made it very obvious that Zuko will teach Aang.
Aand and Zuko remind me of Naruto and Sasuke. (from Naruto...)
They're similar, hate eachother, and are also somewhat close... Zuko and Aang have saved eachother's lives on numerous occasions. Zuko might join with the group, especially since he knows his father will never let him home except for imprisonment.

Sadly yeah. But Zuko will learn that his family's a b1tch, cept for Iroh, and his mom. So I'm putting my bet on either Iroh or Zuko. If Iroh teaches Aang I'd laugh....WHAT IF AANG COULD LIGHTNINGBEND?! O.O

I don't really think that Aang and Zuko hate each other.... I suppose Zuko -might- hate Aang (that's a pretty big might though) But that's mostly cause I think Zuko hates the whole world ^^; Aang I'm pretty sure likes Zuko. He's saved him a couple times before, and has even expressed a desire to be friends (albeight pretty vuagely, I believe his quote was 'If you were born back then, do you think we'd have been friends?')
In fact, I sometimes wonder if Aang hates at all... I mean, he gets pretty whiney sometimes, and threatens people (intentionally or unintentionally) sometimes, but aside from that, he's pretty friendsly and easy going.

I thought it was impossible for anyone but the avatar to learn to bend any element other than their nationality?
I think Zuko will end up teaching Aang as well; I feel like the series has hinted quite strongly at this. We still have to finish the earth chapter before we get to fire one so there's still lots of time for Zuko to realize what he has to do.
