Well.....I really need some help. I'm a griffin otherkin, but I can't find any info about it on the internet, and the stuff that I do find is role playing stuff. I'm pretty sure that being a griffin otherkin is rare, because I haven't found anyone else who is one. If anyone is a griffin kin out there, could you give me some info about it? Or does anyone know some good informative sites where I can read up on it myself? Thank you!

I knew I was a griffin by the dreams I have. When I first awakened, all my dreams had griffins in them. I thought it was wierd at first. Then I saw my form when I "transformed". I had the wings, claws, feet, and tail of almost every bird type griffin I have seen in pictures. I did research, with what I could find, and and it all pointed out to griffin form. It just all seemed to fit.

I don't think just because you are something means that you have a determined personality based off what you... well, were...

Me, it was dreams and other things that have led me to think that I am... To determine for sure... I wouldn't know. According to most of those out there that don't believe it, there is no proof.

Thank you guys for your help. for me? it was my fascination with cats, tigers especially, throughout my childhood. I do remember, I think, having some shapeshifting dreams when I was young as well.

Or does anyone know some good informative sites where I can read up on it myself? Thank you! Technically, I am gryphonkin, but I prefer to not use the label. I tried myself to find info on the internet, and found it to be a near impossible task. I know this sounds cliche in this context, but it is true- the best place to look for information about this is inside yourself. That is where I found most all that I know. I'm free to talk any time I'm online, so feel free to pm me (and tell me to get on AIM or Yahoo, if you feel like it, I haven't been on them lately) if you ever want to talk. Sorry about replying so late, I haven't been on lately (and I may disappear for a while too, but if you want, I can get my sis to watch my account). aaarhus Shonsu SeanV PariahPoet Check out forums.therianthropy.org we have a few gryphons there. why do you call them gryphons? and griffin, how'd you find out you were a gryphon/griffin? its the same as Color and Colour, theyre both correct, just different Gryffon Gryphon Griffin Hypo Griff I thought they were slightly different ideas... but are they all just the same creature? (I think maybe... but I thought that there were slight differences or something depending on the name...) Gryphon is the older version of the name (meaning a lion (or other predatory feline) and eagle (or other bird of prey) mixture, the two examples being the common definition), while Griffin is a more modernized version ( which I prefer to avoid; it just doesn't look right to me) I don't know about Gryffon, it may just be a mixture of the above two. A Hippogryph is a horse/bird of prey mixture.
