Well, this is my first attempt at an RPG on Gaia, so bear with me here. Story: A party of adventurers, journeying from town to town, are nearing Loudre, a village far to the west of their usual lands, rumored to be frequented by werewolf attacks. We join the party shortly before they enter the town... Character setup:Name: [Something relatively easy to type, please.] Gender: [Male, Female, or Androgynous] Class: [Fighter, Bard, Sorcerer, that sort of thing. You can be anything, but please keep within reason. (i.e. No Space Nazis.)] Species: [Anything allowed, Human, Elf, Halfling, Catperson, whatever you like.] Age:* [Please keep it reasonable, Humans don't live to be 280, and infants are too chewy to be an effective force against werewolves.] Physical Description:* [The normal stuff, Hair color and length, eye color, body size/shape... etc.] Personality:* Equipment: [The stuff you carry with you. You are allowed one or two weapons to use. Can be anything, but please keep within reason. No "De-wolfinator Muskets" or "Grand Piano with magical fall-from-the-sky-access."] [* = not required] Current Party Members:

Neko_Dono: Name: Nekita Gender: Female Class: Bard Species: Catgirl Age: 16, by appearance. Physical Description: Purple hair (waist length), bright blue-green eyes, white cat ears and tail, currently wearing a purple skirt (going to slightly above the knee) and a loose-fitting, long-sleeved white shirt. Personality: Generally good-natured and peace loving, but, once riled, she will attack fearlessly, although she will usually search for nonlethal methods of ending the battle. Quite often a scatterbrain. Equipment: A lute, a quill, ink, and blank sheets of paper, and a light rapier, as well as 130 gold, acquired through years of odd jobs, performing in the street, and possibly even a few unorthodox methods.

She both loves and hates with all of her heart and soul. An all or nothing kind of elf. Equipment: Knives, Quiver full of arrows, and her bow.

If its not allowed. ) [Sure, you can use pictures, I typed it out cus I didn't want to have to go through the trouble of finding a pic, and I always enjoy picturing what I think the char looks like, which could be better than a pic.]

[Yeah, I've been trying to think of how to start it.]
Avery and Nekita were walking down the dirt path to the west. They had passed a sign that read "Loudre, 2 Miles" pointing the direction they were traveling a while back. Nekita had her lute out and was absent-mindedly strumming it and humming to herself.
"Hm... against the beasts fighting for blood.... Hey, Avery, what rhymes with blood?"
"... Why?"
"Cus I'm trying to write the story of our couragous battle with the Werechickens of Bristol."

(Tee hee. Its cute. But you cant play another person's character. Even for speech purposes. That’s that challenge of the roleplay. ^^)
Avery was walking alongside Nekita, listening to her music. When Nekita turned and asked her a question, she was rather shocked. Both girls hadn’t talked much for some distance. But the question was innocent enough.
"Blood hmmm?" Avery contemplated " How about mud?"
Avery picked up the beat rather well and began singing smoothly "Against the beasts fighting for blood, we left all their corpses lying in the mud..."
The rhyme didn’t sound right to her, but the battle was one that deserved a ballad, even if it wasn’t that good of a ballad.

Nekita was absorbed in thought as they continued along the path, not only because she was only thinking of rhymes for various words, such as chicken (frickin'?), battle (prattle?), and Phantasmagorial oranges, but also for thoughts of her love, whom she had not seen since long before the incedent with the Werechickens of Bristol.

Avery was humming to herself an elvish tune her mother taught her as a child, her thoughts drifted to the places she left behind.
"Nekita, do you sometimes wonder if starting this journey was really worth it?" She asked softly " Because I sometimes have my doubts, especially at times like these when I start to feel homesick."
She did miss the beautiful forests, and pooling waters brimmed with beautiful fish. She thought about how much fun Nekita would have trying to catch the infamous Ghost Fish.
"Maybe if we are headed in no particular direction, you would like to escort me to my homeland? The Elves would welcome you with open arms, and you would have so much fun with the livestock there. Quite a bit for you to hunt. The aquatic life may be a real challenge for you though."

Nekita flashed Avery a smile. She knew Avery was trying to challenge her into going home with her...
"I know what you're trying to do... You're just expecting me to say 'Oh I can take EVERY single one of your water-dwelling thingamajigs!' ... Well, I can! So we'll go. Let's head to a nearby town to replenish supplies, we're running low on food and I heard Loudre is famous for its caltrops."
They continued to walk down the road towards Loudre, and were nearly on the edge of town as the sun was nearing the meridian.

Avery smiled with delight; both at her own cunning, and at the idea of her Nekita finally being able to see the home she talked so much about.
"Sounds like a plan to me! We can travel to Orodon from Loudre, it should only take about a day, then catch a ship from there to Iradele. Then it’s less than a days travel by cloud to my home!" Avery said, mapping out the route in her mind.
She was excited to see her kin again, but also excited at the fact that they would be staying in the infamous Red Mare tonight. The Tavern and Inn was more or less well known for its artistic types and people from all around traveled to Loudre to tell and hear stories of adventure. Avery and Nekita had plenty of stories to be told...
