Tranquin



This calm planet is a world of rolling oceans, wide grassy plains, redrock moutains, and beautiful sunsets. It is here that the surviving Jedi have made their home planet and have constructed their new Temple.

The Jedi Temple



Settled into the side of the mountain, it extends quite a ways back into the rock, providing ample room and protection for the slowly growing number of Jedi. It has a large main hall and hundreds of smaller rooms for sleeping quarters, training, meditation.

New Coruscant



This small settlement near the Jedi Temple is named in fond rememberance of the grand New Republic capital which was lost to those who have come here. Perhaps one day it will live up to its namesake and span further.

For now, however, it is a safehaven for those seeking the protection of the Jedi, who have nowhere else to turn. It has a small population, but is growing.

Adia walked the halls of the new Jedi Academy. It felt different to her; this whole world felt different to her. She'd been on hundreds of worlds during the war, but this world was different. She turned the cornor and stopped. She glanced out the window and sighed. Several minutes later, she was sitting outside, meditating.

It was early in the morning when Gale first woke to the new day, the air chill with night just barely moving on. He moved down the hall at a slow pace, rubbing his hands briefly together for warmth.

((As my freezing cold out-of-character state influences my poor character. xd ))

They'd been here for a while now. Tranquin... it was their home. The Jedi... There weren't many of them anymore. But there were enough. He hoped that soon, he would be able to recreate the Council in full. Being the head of such a small Order was oddly intimidating. It didnt' help that he knew that this galaxy they found themselves in was on the verge of turmoil. With so much dispute over planets and such, there was unrest in everyone's souls.

"And then there's the Sith to worry about.." he murmured faintly to himself, looking out to the garden encircled by the high stone walls of the Temple. The courtyard was a favorite for many of his Jedi followers. He didn't blame them. Such precious life was an infinite draw for the Force.

The sun was getting higher in the sky as the morning progressed on. The young Master Jedi allowed himself to move into the courtyard garden to warm himself in the sun and perhaps dwell on what he might require of the Jedi next.

That got a faintly amused smile from the older Jedi. "Here is to hoping, I suppose. But still... avoid conflict in this galaxy would be a nice change, I think." He shook his head, knowing it would never happen.

"Good morning, Anakin," he finally more fully greeted the other. "Looks like it will be yet another pleasant day," he commented idly. It seemed to always be that way here on Tranquin--weather was good here, mostly. Especially in this apparent season.

Goodness, Gale could relate to how Anakin felt. He'd felt very much the same when he'd been younger. He remembered days spent back in the Temple on Corcuscant when he'd been a Knight. He'd itched for a good saber fight. The chance to prove himself.

The Darkside still haunted him, and so he could most certainly relate to the need for a conflict. There was something about it that still fed into his soul, despite his being the head of the peaceful Jedi Order.

"In time, Anakin, it is likely that we'll be a part of that fight ourselves." He pursed his lips and turned his head to look at the other. "Don't push us into a fight we don't need yet. We need time to be sure we'll be able to fend for ourselves."

((Sorry a reply took so long. sweatdrop Girlfriend called and had to gab about her boyfriend... rolleyes You know how girls are. *ironic snicker*))

That got an appreciative chuckle out of Gale. "Perhaps that is rightfully so, Anakin." Ah, he wished he could still think like that. But days of being absolutely rash and cocky were beyond him. He had too much responsibility to be as he used to.

"Then again, who knows what new enemies they may have procurred for us, hm? This galaxy holds many strange creatures that even I can't begin to comprehend."

Anakin, though not in tune with the force within him self, felt some terrible disturbances in the force. He felt death, fear, anger... but where were these feelings comeing from. The Jedi fell silent. He serched the fordce throught the entire galaxy. He finally locatedthe source of the death, fear, and anger. Phobis, something was happening there. Finally a chance to prove himself. "Master, I feel something on Phobis. I'm going there to see what this disturbance is, and what is causing it. Good day." The cyaborg ran to the Millenium Falcon started up the engines and took off for Phobis, glad to be out doing something. R2-D9 rolled into the cockpit and took his place in the computer outlet as gunner, and co-pilot.
