This is a thread for you to post your writing and share your creativity with your fellow guild members, and/or get opinions about the things you have written. Please remember that Gaia is a pg13 site. Even though this is an 18 or older guild we still must follow the rules of the site. Please post links to stories/essays or any other types of writing that may be to long to post here. Mild swearing is ok, if your writing is for mature readers please post a link to stating your intended audience.

I wrote this for my journal.
I remove the words that have meaning, but bring no joy.
I remove the words that have little meaning, but bring me joy.
I remove the words that do neither, they give no joy and bring no pain.
I begin again with words of truth, not caring if they bring joy or sorrow.
I begin again with thoughtfullness and sensitivity and emotion.
I begin again with hopes and dreams, love and pain, sorrow and guilt.
I throw out the the things that bring me down.
I cast of the burdens that hold me like shackles, I will not be a prisoner of my my own life.
I break the chains that hold me down, life is too short to stay standing still.

It can be a little dark, morbid, scary, just not pronographic, or contain a lot of cursing.
As for quality I can't say since I haven't read much of your work. What you have posted so far has been good.

scarletwinter That's a good safeguard...perhaps you should put it in the first post though? We talked about it way to much in the old thread, but I'll have to post something for new members.

It all started with Sushi. He was the ring leader in all the enslavement sales. He had with him a cheese, known by the Gaians as Cheese_Slave. Then one day, Cheese was out up for auction. Pesto and Swiss were bidding higher and higher until finally, Swiss won him out. Now Cheese_Slave goes around calling Swiss "Swiss_Master."
