I been here once before, but a left because there was alot going on and could not make any time to really do much, Well im able to make time now to be here.
Question, I dont think this is the right place for this, but imnot relly sure where woudl be the best place to ask, so ill pop it here.
Ok, first step it to admit, Im BI. I'm Bi and this is the first time to ever mention it. I lean more to the girls as far as being Bi goes. My parents dont know, and my friends do not know. It hard not telling any one, and I really dont want to tell my parents that im Bi. Friends I know will understand me more, but my parents? I dont want them to get upset because of it? Im afraid they will. Any suggestions? Should I just leave it a secret to my parents and just tell my friends? Or should I just not really tell anyone? sweatdrop

I was thinking about not asking but, I kinda want some feed back. I dotn want to post it in teh regualr gaia forums, cause there are alot of people that don't take you serius.

This belongs more in the sallies I believe.
But I'm bi as well, but I haven't told many people, just a couple of my friends know. I would say it's how comfortable with telling others that you're bi.

I would say it's how comfortable with telling others that you're bi. :/ hmm.. should I post this in AFG Sallies? Or leave this thread teh way it is for now? Still all the same. I more confortable telling some of my friends, but my parents could be a porblem. *sigh* I love my parents, so I dont want them to thing less of me, or get all upset. Thats why all together, im just tryingto see what others may say. Thanks for your imput. ^_^

Just leave it until a moderator tells you want to do.
I love my parents as well. I just don't want to freak them out.... but I know they'd still accept me.

First question, how liberal/open-minded are your parents? Second, can you without a doubt say they love you and no matter what happens will support you?
After you ask yourselves those questions, you may be able to decide more if you can tell your parents.
I'm bisexual, myself, and I'm very much openly public about it, friends, family, etc. Then again, that's just me. As well as I have a girlfriend.
You just need to decide if it's something important enough to stick your pride to and tell them, and if you feel they'd accept it.
Nobody else can truly tell you how they are going to react, you know them better then us, so just think on it, k? If you think they can, and you know for sure it's what you are, then go for it.
And I have told my parents, and while my mom is worried about me, she accepts it and loves me. And my dad? He just says "you are who you are" and isnt' bothered at all.
but not all parents are as open-minded as mined, and I don't know yours,. so I dont' know really waht to tell you, sorry.
...to be the one who decides who goes next.

Gothyfox From my point of view of being bi the less my parents know the happier they are. But what about relationships? I mean I want relationships, but if it was not with a girl, Wouldnt it be hard to to have one without parents knowing? This is like i said befor first time i have ever talked about it ever. Im 19 now, will be 20 really soon once October comes around. Im in college, and I live with my mom, helping her out, she is going to be getting neck surgery, so im her to be helping her out. I was taking summer off of colege and now im going to be takeing online courses. She hasnt gotten surgery yet but she will be i think next week or teh fallowing. Any ways just explaining my status or what ever. sweatdrop

I told my mom i was Bi.. she was mad only bc i kept it form her for 3 eyars. she respects me in my chooses.. I woudl say IF you feel they will accept it tell them .. but it a tricky subject... The AFG will alwasy be here for you!

...to be the one who decides who goes next. My parents..hmm... My dad for sure isnt open minded.... does being a christian matter. Im christian and im Bi... but my dad really isnt openminded.... My mom, she is, but... I dont know... your right, I have putten thought in it before. I will for sure tell my friends, most of them are open minded.

It's like how I haven't told my mother that I have a girlfriend in America (she hates Americans.... which is ironic since all of her favourite craft programs are american sweatdrop ).

I wish you the best of luck. It was hard when I told my mom I was bi back in my freshmen year of high school (I'm 19 and a fresh in college now) and it was even harder to tell her when I finally got my first girlfriend (only a month or so ago). It's not an easy thing, no. But it's something you should only do once you've really thought it out and really feel it's in your best interests.

I live in america, im american. *sigh* I can understand if you mom hates amrica becuase of teh crap america has probuly done. doesnt mean all us americans are proud of it though. So she shoulnt hate all americans if taht is the case. eh
