Some ways west of the village the forest opens onto a feild of tall grasses and standing pools. Trees, once dense and full like the forest, now stand as water logged giants amid a series of mirror like lakes, their bodies rising a skeletal spires from the clear waters. Shrines to the spirits litter the area, some forgotten, and some still boasting small offerings. The area is beautiful to be sure and wildlife is abundant. It a bit of a hike from the walls but well worth it.
In all there are three lakes, and five smaller ponds, that creep their way into the forest and run away with the streams that cross them.
The first lake, "Sky Lake" littered with the most threes, walks right up on the forest, and into the trees, submerging some the the still living trees at the roots has it has the dead ones in it's deepers waters, which coincidently are actually fairly shallow(around 15 feet at the deepest point). This lake looks much like a monks training feild, and many of the dead trees still standing in its waters have been cut off at varieing heights to make a vareity of poles that, had one the desire, could be used as a sort of stepping stone, leaping from one tree to the next.
The Next lake, "Mirror lake" is the deepest and located farther from the forest. The only trees in it waters stand like gardians along the shores, stretching bare branches across the glossy surface of their mistress in protective wards. No one knows exactly how deep this lake is due to a certain inability to reach the bottom, but the water is dark and reflective, casting the clouds image back at them so that looking down upon it is like looking 'down' into another sky.
Lastly, "Pearl lake" sits against the cliffs, furthest from the village walls, boasting both deepwaters and an expansive shore line. Rock and sand breaches soak up the sun in the day and warm the waters to a comfortable temperatures in the summer. This lake is popular for cliff jumping and swimming, and while it's the farthest away its also the most inviting. Like the others before it, the waters a crystal clear but lighter than Mirror Lakes and lacking the dangerous poles like Sky lake. A rope swing has been tied to an old oak on the shore for swinging out into the water. This is favorite spot for just hanging out. The hotsprings arn't a long walk from this lake either.

Manndar was out walking one day for reasons unknown to himmself, when he daw a lake with dead trees that have been trimmed to look like stepping stones. Intrigued, Manndar decided to test them. He jumped for the closest and lowest one and landed on it. It was sturdy enough to hold him and it had a nice viewpoint of the surrounding area, so he decided to sit there and observe.

Aona sat calmly on the shores of Pearl Lake, opposite from the cliffs where disruption would surely come from. In her hands was a fishing pole, the line out in the water and a bobber attached to it. A bucket of worms sat next to her. She leaned back against a stump, and relaxed, her finger lightly touching the string in case she dozed off and contact was made.

Namine paces the far shores of Pearl lake, Tiku riding as has become his costume, in the wide arm hole of her tunic just behind her arm. The glistening surface of the lake beckoning her to swim as toes burry into the cool sand lining its shores. Still she walks further on, merely enjoying the breezes ruffling her blue and black locks. Before long the girl is with in site of Aona and wishing not to too much disturb her settles her own pack in the shade beneath the tree’s a good distance from the other girl. Tiku scurries out of her clothing as she begins disrobing, revealing a rather common black one-piece swim suit beneath. She came prepared to swim. Leaving Tiku to hunt out bugs and seeds in the tree’s Namine walks carefully out into the shallows, toes curling around the submerged roots of the trees lining this bit of shore. A few steps in, with the water to mid calf she throws herself forward into a long dive and vanishes smoothly beyond the lakes rippling surface.

Manndar jumps towards the next higher one and stands there.
"So far so good... I wonder if I can make it to the one in the middle." Manndar thinks to himmself as he gets ready to leap from tree to tree.
He makes it to the one in the middle and stands there, observing everyone and everything he can see doing their activities....
"People are truly an interesting subject to observe." Manndar thinks to himmself.

Akuhei stared sliently down into Mirror lake from the water's edge. The crystal clear waters reflected his chain-covered visage back at him in nearly perfect resolution. He stood there for a time, contemplating both his mission here and in life in general. He decided that he was quite pleased with it, and turned back to the forest.

There was a slight tugging underneath Aona's finger as she sat by the water's edge. She reacted instantaneously, tugging sharply - but not too sharpl - on the rod, setting the hook. She fought the hooked fish, or turtle, or whatever it was, and pulled it closer in towards the shoreline. Eventually, she managed to get it out of the water, and it was in fact a small turtle that had taken the bait. Aona released the terrapin, happy that she'd at least caught something, and cast her line back into the water.

Scout was launched through the canopy, landing into sky lake, quickly sinking to the bottom. He had to beat this thing somehow. He struck the bottom and struggled to get up. The clone blasted into the lake after him and pinned him to the ground, so that he would soon run out of air. This would end soon if he couldn't find a way out.

And idea formed into Scout's head as he was shoved. Wind chakra launched from his body and began to spin rapidly. This began to create a large tower of water which launched upwards, sending the two flying out. In mid-air, he took out his longsword and held it tightly.
The clone mimiced by taking out a copy sword. He lunged forward for a strike towards Scout's face with enough force to slice off his head.
An idea popped into Scout's head knowing that this thing could overpower him. Wind chakra flowed around the sword and Scout's head. Using the force of the sword and the wind. He simply slice the clones blade to pieces, with swift, strong and smooth slices which happened in only an instant.

Scout smiled as both of them began to land. He saw what his brother was trying to show him. The use of his chakra and how to beat an enemy with a larger amount of chakra than you. Both of these would help against Kold. As he fell he had thought of another use of wind chakra. For his Meishin( Sound Flicker) Everytime he had performed it before he had fallen but now he could use it to keep his balance. Chakra swirled in his legs to increase his speed and wind chakra swirled around his legs to keep his balance. He would have to seal this chakra back into his body. Meishin Scout looked like he hadn't moved, of course this was the illusion that came with the atatck to trick the foe. Scout appeared behind the clone and stabbed it. Taron Fuuin Jutsu The chakra swirled into the sword and back into Scout's body. He stopped and looked around and then quickly disappeared using his new jutsu.

Atop one of the many mountains overlooking the lakes, the winds of uneasiness stirred. Was it an ominous feeling of death? Or was the uneasiness casted to the hearts of evil. The soul's who approached..were they for the better good? Or the bitter evil.
The ground quivered, a small darkness appeared. The air quivered and the image of a man quivered into place. Standing there...waiting.
Shadow Drifting...
The Menoskaye clan lived.

A second shadow appeared next to Shin. This shadow spliting off of him, dispite the suns position. The same wind that had just blown seemed to return as a skrawny image of a man in baggy clothing appeared next to Shin.
His form fading into existance next to his brother, and fellow clan member. His arms crossed as he stood next to Shin, over looking the area below.

"You smell that brother? The salty smell drifting through the air?"
He inhaled, breathing in through his nose.
"This smell fortells tears...Tears of Happiness, and Tears of blood."
He crossed his arms, closing his eyes momentarily before opening them again to look outwards. Although he still talked directly to Zy, he made no eye contact.
"...Lets see what the so-called Village of Gaioh has to offer."
With that, Shin shifted his body weight forward, dissappearing in the same fashion he had appeared in.
