I was listening to the radio in the car the other day when Highway to Hell came on. I recognized it by the first three chords...and I guess my dad did too, because thats all he had to hear before reaching to changed it as he sighed. And then he changed it to Smash Mouth and started to sing along!...so I got mad. I was happy to hear AC/DC and then my dad killed it! How can somebody like stupid Smash Mouth better then an awsome AC/DC song!?!! What is the world comming to!?!!!

I don't mean to sound blunt, but people have their own music tastes and preferences.

Just have to deal with it, really.

It's a shame you can't enjoy AC/DC with your family.... I take my 8 yr old to gigs with me, he's a huge fan in his own right. He's usually known as Big E or MiniAngus.

Did you try just asking if you could listen to it? Does your Da know that you like AC/DC? Perhaps it's worth pointing out in general conversation that they're not as bad as their image sometimes portrays them, especially in this day and age! There is no foul language in AC/DC lyrics and I was happily oblivious to most of the innuendo's until .... well probably into my 20s as I didn't analyse them too much LOL

I wish you luck in getting to listen to them more often.
