Well, I'm getting back into cross stitching. It's been a long, lnog, long, LONG, (did I mention long?) time since I've done it. Thankfully though, it's not a skill you easily forget. So, does anyone else cross stitch?

my kids have to take their cross-stitching away from me--it's addicting!

The only hard part is counting stitches, but you can avoid that with certain patterns that are printed right onto the canvas. So no, it's very easy, and very relaxing. ^^

Yep, it is very addicting. Now, do you do needlepointing or cross stitching? Because they are two different crafts. Needlepointing only makes slashes, while cross stitching makes little X's.

I cross stitch a lot, considering everything else I try to do.

My most recent endevour was to make a wedding present for my husband's mother...She was getting married to the man she has been living with for 12 years...I wanted to do something personal.

I like to cross stitch, but it hurts the hands and the eyes sometimes.

Yeah, it can start to hurt after a while, I can relate to that.

I absolutely love cross stitching... I probably couldn't live without it. :3 I have been stitching for.. 10 years? Maybe more, I really don't know anymore. whee

I always have to have two or three projects going on at the same time. But sadly, since university is taking so much time right now, I can't stitch as much as I would want. crying

Darn right! All nighters are for avoiding studying and homework!

I cross stitch, when I'm not reading, sewing, watching movies, making other crafts, working.....

EDIT: NOW i remember why I gave up...i wasn't getting around to doing my homework because i couldn't stop......
