Hey everyone, I feel bad just busting in here with questions, but any help would be great. Ok to start off I know very little about skateboarding. Past couple of years I've wanted to give it a spin, and now I have decided to do so. I've researched what little I could and now I come here. I'm looking for a board to ride the streets with. Maybe capable of some minor tricks, though I've gotta learn to ride first. I've looked up decks and found a 7.625 x 31.25 Zero deck. Would that be sufficent? And from there on I'm at a loss. I have no idea what trucks, bearings, or wheels I should look into. Or what sizes for each I would need for that size deck. There may even be parts I'm leaving out. Please any suggestions would be sweet. Thanks.

Well, after quite a bit of research and a little guessing. It looks like I'm going with a Zero deck 7.63 width. Destructo downlow 7.5 width trucks. Spitfire wheels. Abec 7 Zero bearings. And Zero hardware, risers, and griptape.

Well, this was posted quite a while back, and I have been MIA. I'm now much more Skateboard knowledgable. I ended up with a Girl 7.5 deck, Krux downlows, and spitfire 53 mm wheels. And Abec 7 bearings.

Elements suck too. Get a Alien Workshop or Darkstar Armorlight. My favorite wheels are Rictas. They are some really good wheels.
