Tasha was out with one of the morning patrols in the jungles when a loud beeping sound came from her comlink. She activated it, and before her stood the holographic figure of Daala, Chancellor Drando's secretary and Tasha's agent on Terra. She saluted, an action mirrored by Tasha.

Daala was one of her finest agents and had been the best of her squad leaders during the Civil War, and for her to contact Tasha now meant something big was happening.

Greetings General. I don't have much time but I have some desperately important news. Chancellor Drando is in conference with his remaing generals, and from what I have heard I believe that they are preparing to assault the Sycara on Phobis 1. He has sent General Tansen to enlist the aid of the Jedi on Tranquin, although I believe she will warn them not to aid him. Admiral Taskalla too is having doubts, and they are considering throwing in their lot with your forces. Daala out.'

The image flickered and died. Tasha whistled softly, then motioned to her lieutenant.

'Tarsel, ready our ground forces for immediate departure, and ready the Endor and the Dantooine for assault.'

'They troops are already loaded General, and all ships are awaitng departure. I had been anticipating this for several days and acted accordingly.'

Tasha smiled at her lieutenant. He had always remained by her side, ever dince their days together as Junior Snipers, and he had never failed to surprise her.

'Very good Commander, lets head to the spaceport.'

'Aye ma'am.'

The twenty strong squad of men moved back through the undergrowth, heading for the Naval Docks on the outskirts of Waterfall City.

A young radio operator sends a reply.

'Last we heard she was directing the defences on Phobis 1, although that was several days ago'

An Imperial heavy cruiser floated into orbit. It was a smoking hull and almost everyone was dead. It had come from the battle over Belugia, and was headed to Infernus when their engines broke down, and was caught in Simians orbit.

The Imperial cruiser desended into the atmosphere where it smashed into one of the jungles near the main city. 100 crew, troopers, and officers, out of the original 300 were still alive.

A small squad of storm troopers where the first to make a door and scout the area around the ship.

"Where are we?" said one of the storm troopers.
"The captain said we are at Simian." said the squad leader.

This cruiser was a Lancer class Imperial cruiser wich has four shuttles on board. So the crew were very busy on tying to fix them in time for thier escape.

Out side more Troopers were preparing fortifications around the crashed ship in case the Rebels came looking for them. Soon turrets, and trenches surrounded it.

The Imperial fortifications were finished.
The Imperial engineers had done very well at constructing trenches and laser turrets around the crashed cruiser.

They had even constructed a makeshift shield generator around the crashsite. These IMPs were expecting the worst, but they would fight to the death.

The Imperial shuttles were almost fixed. This would be their only way of escape when the battle came.

A storm trooper ran up to the Captain.
"Sir we are expecting an attack soon"
"How well do you think we can hold them off?"
"about 2 hours.....even if they had tanks."
"Lets hope we are right."
