Ch. 1 Times of Forgiveness

Forget not the damned soul

" Once I ran to you, now I run from you "

" The choice isn't really there's to make Leia, it's up to the newest generation to change. It's simply the law of the gods, when it comes to such people "

The young girl sat poised on a tiny chair in the endless void around them, looking at the taller pale skinned woman with upset. There was that sick feeling in the pit of her stomach, and she idly picked at her robes hoping that something would interrupt the conversation. All that came was a tiny little cloud of unmade life, that the tall woman formed into a being and passed on into the darkness.

" Creation, I mean...this decision...how can I make it when I have no idea what will happen ? "

The taller woman laughed and the scene around them shifted, they were on a warm planet now one she remembered from years ago. Tattoonie endless sea of dunes, surrounded the tiny village. A young boy with sandy brown hair rounded a corner followed by two jedi, and a young woman. The goddess with her pointed towards them, and drew a thin line about the boy and the older jedi master.

" Had Qui-Gon lived he would have passed your father " The silvery hand tapped the sandy haired boy's head softly on the glass like wall before them " to a good friend of his wife's, a woman who would have stopped the darkness from dragging him down because she is the darkness "

" The idea that..."

" Evil must destroy Evil, it is simplistic in how such things attend to us. Happiness was only a minicycle away. "

Leia stepped closer to the mirror, watching as the scene continued until it faded away, the wall going black. Her hand drifted to touch it and behind the glass a figure emerged another young woman, she moved away, stumbled backwards and fell and the girl on the other side followed the motion perfectly.

“ She is..”

“ You as you are born to a master and padawan, after some love affair that was never supposed to continue. “

Leia stood walked over to the imagine and pressed a hand to the glass pane, the lovely woman followed the motion as well a bright smile on her features. The girl however like the other image faded away after a moment, leaving Leia staring at black glass. She turned her head to look at the goddess beside her, who gave her a warm smile.

“ I can be her, be happy ? Have a real family ? “

The silvery woman nodded, and Leia nodded her own acceptance. The goddess smiled and the room around them shifted. Colors blurred into it, and they faded she wanted to scream as it swallowed her into the darkness.

“ My darling Princess, you and your brother have chosen your new paths. Now you can watch from a distance as your new being takes life. “

" They claim she's a close friend of Yoda's father fought with him during the austoaudarian wars, and that she might be taking on a Padawan from this temple. Can you imagine being trained by someone so powerful. "

" I heard that's she's trained as a Jedi and Sith, imagine that the best of both arts "

" You'd have to do an awful lot to impress her though, I bet "

It seemed as if every single youngling and master froze in there conversations as the council members trailed in to the large dining hall , however it seemed this time that had a new companion that all eyes were on. Anakin had never personally seen a woman so strange looking, not in real life anyway only in his dreams and on the tiny old holovid in his room and few simple sketches in books as well , yet she held a beauty of a corpse. A dead body with purple tinted skin that had not yet bloated with the venom from the teeth of death, her eyes were painted in blood no white just pure red, several rings of different hues making the other parts of her eye visible. Beneath each eye was the thick trail of blood, slivering across her cheek and down the soft bare skin of her neck. Lips stained in bloody color though if it was a regular lip-balm, her regular color in those full lips or something else that dripped from a freshly killed body, the imagine of blood crawling down over the dead flesh flashed through his mind, the cold droplet slithering over flesh that a hardened, red eyes flashed. Just as they did in the holovid. Her hair was more like...like..silk, black silk that was currently curled into a mountain of ringlet's and held back behind her head with a simple red bow.

She wasn't dressed like the other council members either, but in an all white silky looking outfit pattered in flame. The burning reds, and golds a stark contrast to the pure pristine white of the gown. Contrast seemed to be the word to describe her. Three light saber's hug from the waist belt, the hilt's glittered in the dim light's. The accents decorated with diamonds, and made of white gold. She seemed so much more ready, unlike the other council members who wore muted clothing she looked like a blazing phoenix ready to scorch her opponents.

Master Yoda was in her arms, talking in hushed tones with the fightingly beautiful woman, and made a gesture with a wrinkled green finger...towards his table, no he corrected himself as her gaze changed towards he and his master. Master Yoda had pointed at him. Her lips perked and she gave him a small smile, showing the tips of pristine white fangs. He felt himself straiten as she looked at him but she continued to move and the gaze was broken with little effort on her part, he was dimly aware of Obi-Wan commenting on something.

He knew her.

She was the woman in the holovid he watched.

Blood Empress Vilakar, Jedi master Karvilas. Were one in the same.

She was here, and picking a padawan.

The bitter hate of already being picked was seething through his veins, his hand went and tugged on the tiny little braid that coiled behind his ear. He wanted to forget that feeling and accept that he had a master, yet there was something there that allowed for his upset to stay present. Then he turned his gaze back to the elders as they took up there seats, jealously flared and yet he couldn't fathom as to why as Master Windu sat beside her but she and Master Windu seemed to invoke a hidden rage at being so close, shifting there chairs as far apart as possible she carried on her conversation with Yoda. A thin smirk came across his face. Then quickly disappeared as she once again turned her gaze to him, he could feel his face grow warm. The sudden awkwardness of the situation hit him, he was in love with a figure he thought only lived in books, in old holocrons, in the fairytale's that littered every culture.

But he had Padme...

But then that was before he knew she was real...

Before she was sitting before him only meter's away, in pure living color...

Padme was a replacement for a woman he couldn't have because she didn't exist...

A woman that was now here.
