Silver woke from his bead and yaened and stretched. He swung his legs to the side of the bed rested his elbows on his knees and closed his eyes. Shaking his head he stood up and pulled on his trousersthen his plate leggings then his mail boots. He walked over to the dying fire and tossed on a log on to the dying fire. Sparks flew up into the chimney as the log landed in the fireplace. Silver walke over and began to fix his breakfast hich was bread and water. After eating he stood and got completely dressed into his armor with his swords to go to the towns. Silver fenced off the fire and opened the door and steped out.

SILVER WALKED OUT OF HIS HOUSE THAT IS IN THE FOREST. The cold air nipped at his nose. He took in a deep breath of mountain air the sun had set perfectly behind the mountains where it would cause him no harm. Silver walked out off the porch and into the woods the snow didnt crush beneath his feet for he was elf and other. As he walked on down the road a messanger came to him on horse back carrying a messagee for him. The messanger handed silver a gold parchment that read.
Dear knight,
I am in need of your services as a guard to get me safley to my destination. You will be paid for your services.
It was a short letter but silver liked it, it had gotten straight to the point that he was needed and had a service to commit to. He smiled and contined to walk, his elfen ears listening to the song of birds.

Having only finished settling back in from coming home, the thought of not being at the king’s castle was a lode off. "It is good to be home" Silver laid on his back listening to the memories of his family in the house. The forest was just so peaceful not like the towns and manners. Even if the odd sounds of what sounded like voices weakly in the distance, tainted the peace Silver did not feel like going back to his horse to check it out. Knowing more then likeing it was nothing more then people who lived in the forest hunting for food.

Silver began to drift into a soft sleep as the morning sun was begining to rise. "Well good night to those spirits that till haunt me..." Silver gave a crucked smile to what ever he imagined was watching him. "Kill him.....kill him now Theodus, put the stake into his heart." "but momma...." the child cries. "Its father, I don't want to hurt him I love papa." The child cries more, the wounded woman crawls to the child and takes the wooden stake. "He is no longer your father then he is undead." There was a scream in the room. Silver sat straight up as heavy fist pounded on the door. Silver wiped away the tear that slowly slid down his cheek. "Who is it?"

Silver stood and put on his pants and grabed a dagger from his belt. Another round of pounding hit the door."Who the bloddy hell is it?" "Just open the damn door will you. im going to freeze out here you old devil." Silver unlatched the door and hid behind it as the sun poured in. "Come in whoever you are, I have no need of the light." The man steped in was in good shape, and in blodied black armor. "Ahhhh place hasn't changed much, then again you never muched like change when you where alive." "Who the hell are you?" Silver asked looking at the guy. "What you don't even remeber me? Well its been about 20 years. I go by the name my father named me Theodus." Silver dropped the dagger and stared at his son. "I thought they killed you when they raided the house, you and your mother they had you?" Silver fail to his knees. and stared up at the young man.

After what seemed like days, the hours came to a close."So what are you doing out here?" "Well i came here to see if the stories were true, and it seems that it is, and that you are alive, well as alive as your going to be.Theodus slightly grinned at his joke.Silver having heard it hundreds of times gave a fake grin."So what are you doing now, and what is the true reason?" Theodus looked at him and sighed."I am here to bring you to the castle, from some probles we are having, there are some plans of war coming about nothing is being said at the moment, but it is still a whisper amoung the soldiers."Silver looked at him."Give me a minute to grab my cloak and armor then we shall leave.I would offer you some food, but i only have my food, But i do have drinks take your pick."theodus walked to the casing and grabbed a waterskin."this will do fine need to keep my head clear."silver walked into the next room and came out a few minutes later dressed in armor and a thick cloak.They stepped to the door silver pulled the cloak hood over his head."Lets go" the walked out the door and into the forest.
