Well, I dunno if it's worth making a thread for itself, but i'm going to post some of my pictures from my Japan Trip in '04.

This is the building that the A-bomb exploded over, still in-tact to this day.

This is a plackard sitting outside the Hiroshima Memorial Museum.
Inside the museum there were many horrible things, I never want to go back cry

This was at a Shrine in, umm, Shin-osaka I think.
It was very beautiful, I wish more pictures came out clearer.

Yeah, when I went up Mt. Fuji, we went at night so we could see the sunrise, but I ended up getting altitude sickness, passing out for 2 hours and missing it. Regardless, I made it to the top, forgot to take pictures(because i thought someone else had my camera =(
and threw up all the way down, lol.

Oh, this is what the plackard says:

[This monument was erected in the hope that Hiroshima, devestated by the world's first atomic bomb on August 6th, 1945, would be rebuilt as a city of peace. The epitaph reads, "Let all the souls here rest in peace. For we shall not repeat the evil." It summons people every to pray for the repose of the souls of the deceased A bomb victims and to join in the pledge never to repeat the evil of war. It thus expresses the "Heart of Hiroshima" which, enduring past grief and overcoming hatred, yearns for the realization of true world peace with the coexistece and prosperity of all humankind. The monument is also called the "A-bomb Cenotaph," for the stone chest within the center contains the registers of deceased A bomb victims.]

Pisses me off to know that we bombed primarily civilian targets when our evil government decided to drop the bombs. crying

I can't wait to go back, haha.

Theres this hotel we stayed at, that had alot of Austrailian people stayin there, we hung out, was pretty fun. One of em showed us this awesome curry restaurant. Curry is so yummy, and pocky too 3nodding
